I’m not even a Millennial, but I can relate to all of these young folks and how they are having a hard time grasping how and why their mental faculties are not as sharp as they used to be.

Hence, we’ve been give the gift of the “This Can’t Be the Same Brain” phenomenon that is sweeping the Twitter-verse.

Hey, we’re living through very tough times and all. kinds of Millennials are taking to social media to make funny observations about how they’re having a hard time dealing with their brain drain.

A Mom Asked, “Is It Wrong to Give Your Kids a Reality Check About the Responsibilities of Being an Adult?”

We all have dreams for our future when we’re young: the job we want, the house we’ll have, the lifestyle we’ll live. We see the lives of characters in our favorite TV shows and movies, and imagine that could be us someday.

Carrie from Sex and the City managed to afford a New York apartment full of expensive shoes, working as a full-time writer. Why can’t I?

Unfortunately, reality isn’t so simple. Adults have a lot of bills to pay. And that’s what this mom attempted to explain to her daughter, but she was met with some unexpected consequences.

So she took to Reddit to ask, “Am I the a*shole?”

Alright, already we can see that her daughter is in a foul mood. Maybe this isn’t the best time for a hard reality check. Then again, is there ever a good time?

Mom sees this as an opening for an important conversation about what adulting actually entails. It’s not all eating ice cream for dinner and staying up way past your bed time.

Oh, honey.

While hiring a maid isn’t a bad thing, nor an unreasonable thing for a middle to upperclass household to do, it’s almost laughable to image an 18-year-old right out of high school having that privilege.

It’s too tempting not to pop that bubble.

I completely understand where her husband is coming from. The daughter was probably dealing with some other issue or insecurity and it manifested in the form of complaining about chores.

Then again, was the mom wrong to be real with her daughter?

There’s nothing wrong with encouraging your children to pursue their dreams, but to do so without preparing them for the obstacles they’ll face doesn’t do them any good.

Sometimes being a parent means being the “bad guy,” in your child’s eyes.  In the short-term, her daughter might be upset for a bit, but in the long-term, at least now she knows where to set her expectations.

A Guy’s Bike Ride From Poo Point (Washington) to Pee Pee Creek (Ohio) Was All for Charity

Most of us want to find ways that we can do good, can give back to the world around us and those less fortunate.

We have to find our thing, the outlet that gets us the most attention and the most support – and therefore, earns support and attention for our passionate causes.

And judge this guy all you want, but if there’s one thing that’s universally true in this world, talking about one’s bodily functions as a joke is always popular.

Ruben Lopez (@rubydrummr on Twitter) is a Chicago-based musician and cyclist who promised to bike from Poo Poo Point in Washington to Pee Pee Creek in Ohio in exchange for charity support. In order to make it, he would have to traverse over 2500 miles and spend 36 days camping out under the stars.

To raise the hilarity stakes even further, Lopez promised to go 69 miles every day and take pictures of all the irreverent signs along the way.

He delivered, too, riding just the 69 miles – “not a mile more, not a mile less” – every day, and posting pictures of his, ahem, memorable sights along the way.

While the humor factor in this story is high, what’s important is that Lopez was making the trip to raise both money and awareness for the humanitarian crisis in Yemen. He’s raised more than $7,000 to donate for the Yemen Relief and Reconstruction Foundation, which “provides help and support to the neediest families in Yemen who have suffered from a devastating war since 2015.”

And he’s not done yet.

Next up, the trek from Pee Pee Creek, Ohio, to Pee Pee Island, Newfoundland.

He’s the hero we all need, clearly, but none so much as the people suffering in Yemen.

An egg envelope is just a cute little way to have your over-easy egg tucked into the egg whites – a perfect bite that you don’t need silicone cups and an air fryer to achieve.

Here’s the video. If you ask me, it’s cute and it looks like it would enable you to get a really nice yolk-to-white ratio.

Let me know if you’ve experienced this kind of situation before: you’re at a restaurant or browsing online looking at a menu and you see a dish that looks absolutely delightful.

So you order it up and when it finally arrives…you shake your head in disgust because you definitely did NOT get what was advertised.

What a bummer that is!

And yes, for every 15,000 Blue Oyster Cult records that you flip through, you come across a really rare LP every once in a while that makes you scratch your head in amazement.

But I bet even the most seasoned record collector has never stumbled upon these albums. Why, you ask? Because the funny folks behind an Instagram page called Obscurest Vinyl take vintage records and make big jokes out of them…and they’re very funny.

I was there about two years ago and, while I had a great time just like I always do when I visit the Big Apple, there’s no denying that there are A TON of hipsters wandering the streets of that great city.
