Disneyland in Shanghai Is Implementing New Safety Guidelines and Practices

You can’t be too careful these days. Germs are everywhere, as well as potential safety hazards.

Theme parks, in particular, can be especially daunting if you’re worried about your safety. But at least one park is taking steps to make guests safer these days.

After being closed for several months, Shanghai Disneyland is back up and running again and the park has instituted some new safety precautions that are pretty clever.

For example, they’re asking park-goers to stand far apart from each other while watching shows to prevent the spread of germs and disease.

And they’re asking everyone to wear masks for the same reason:

And people seem more than happy to comply:

Meanwhile, in the United States, other Disney properties are making similar changes.

The shopping, dining and nightlife area Disney Springs in Orlando, Florida, is also again open to guests.

They’re encouraging people to wear masks and limit their contact with people and items around them, including garbage cans:

Restaurants are also only using half their tables:

And park staffers are checking visitors’ temperatures:

It will certainly be interesting to see if other theme parks and related attractions follow suit in the coming weeks. And, perhaps more importantly, will guests follow these new rules?
