Stephen King, “The Master of Horror”, just turned 72 years old the other day, and he’s showing no signs of slowing down.

15 People Share What Celebrities They Think Would Be Outed as Serial Killers

First off, I think this would be a great movie. Secondly, who do you think you would pick if you were posed with this question:

“If the headline “Celebrity outed as serial killer” appeared, who would you expect it to be about?

AskReddit users offered up their opinions. I can’t wait to dig into these!

Share your thoughts in the comments!

1. Prime suspect

“It almost pains me to say this because he is one of if not the best actors in the world, but Daniel Day-Lewis. The man protects his privacy extremely well. Doesn’t do a lot of movies (retired now) and stays as clean as possible. He is the prime guy.”

2. No way!

“Bill Murray.

“No one will ever believe you.”

turns to walk away

“You’ll never have the chance to tell them.”

3. Not a good legacy

“I hope that Tom Hanks dies peacefully in his sleep at a grand old age, with an untarnished history and nothing but funny stories about colleagues and strangers he helped and made happy.

And then they go to clear out the basement of his mansion and just find hundreds and hundreds of human heads in various states of decay.”

4. Say it ain’t so

“Carrot Top.”

5. A killer trifecta

“The first names that popped in my head were Tom Cruise, John Travolta, and Jim Carrey.”

6. A disturbed dick…

“Andy Dick… the dude is f*cking disturbed. Oh… he’s also a dick.”

7. I hope not. One of my favorite directors…

“David Fincher. Between Se7en, Zodiac, Mindhunter, and the rest of his entire filmography, he really seems fascinated with compelling serial killers, sociopaths, and psychopaths. The performances of these characters are always unique, captivating, and unnerving.

They have an air of authenticity to them. Fincher makes some great films, and I’m not seriously suggesting the dude’s a serial killer, but he’s probably the only famous person I can think of where, upon being revealed as a serial killer, a common first reaction would be, “…Yeah okay, that explains a lot.”

8. Might not be a stretch?

“Quentin Tarantino… just cause.”

9. It’s all in the eyes

“The Olsen twins. They got some menacing eyes.”

10. I think you’re right on the money

“There’s a distinct lack of female celebrities on this list. I definitely think Tilda Swinton could murder us all one day.”

11. Insane if he wants to

“Nic Cage. Have you seen the memes about the Ghost Rider movies having zero CGI and that it was all him? He can be insane if he wants to.”

12. A true villain

“Elon Musk is one face scar away from being a James Bond villain.”

13. Good old Woody

“Woody Allen. Anyone who marries their wife’s adopted young daughter is seriously creepy.”

14. Look at the track record

“Brad Pitt. If a man can leave both Angelina Jolie AND Jennifer Anniston he’s capable of anything.”

15. Can’t put my finger on it…

“Definitely Katy Perry. Something is off about her.”

15 Movie Shots That Are so Stunning They Look like Works of Art

10 Interesting Facts About Steve Buscemi

Steve Buscemi has been in more than 100 movies over the past 30 years; from big-budget films to independent gems, he’s a character actor with a face no one is likely to forget anytime soon.

But even if you’ve seen all of his films and count yourself a super-fan, you might not know these 10 facts about the man himself.

10. His character in Con Air was written just for him.

Garland Greene’s exploits “make the Manson family look like the Partridge family,” and only one actor was fixed in screenwriter Scott Rosenberg’s mind when he was writing the part: Steve Buscemi.

9. He seems to be a bit unlucky.

Buscemi was born on Friday the 13th and, as a child, survived being hit by both a bus and a car (in two separate incidents). He used the settlement money to pay to attend acting school.

8. He doesn’t have any plans to fix his teeth.

That crooked smile might bother some, but for a guy whose made a career playing lowlifes and losers, Buscemi isn’t letting anyone near it.

7. He was part of a comedy duo with Sons of Anarchy‘s Mark Boone, Jr.

In 1984, the two began a part-improv, part-scripted show that The New York Times called “theater in the absurdist vein.”

6. You might be pronouncing his name wrong.

Instead of Boo-shemmy, he’s always said Boo-semmy – but on a recent trip to Sicily, people said it Boo-SHAY-me.”

5. He did not audition to play George Costanza.

This rumor has been around for years, repeated even by Jason Alexander himself, but Buscemi insisted on an episode of The Tonight Show that it’s not true.

“I never did the audition, and I don’t know how to correct it because I don’t know how the internet works.”

4. He narrates the audio tour at the Eastern State Penitentiary.

A post shared by Steve Buscemi (@samepictureofstevebuscemi) on

The historic Philadelphia prison tour includes a familiar voice, and all because Buscemi fell in love with the history and architecture of the oft-filmed spot during a location scout.

3. He’s aware that his characters often aren’t long for that world.

He’s been shot, stabbed, run through with knives, tossed off a balcony, and fed through a wood chipper, but Buscemi has a sense of humor about all of his deaths – he admits he often reads ahead in scripts to see how he will die.

2. He even has a favorite death.

In the Big Lebowski, his character Donny dies from a heart attack, and its out-of-the-blue nature still tickles Buscemi.

“They thought, ‘Well, Buscemi’s in it, so we’ve gotta kill him,” he joked on The Daily Show.

1. He didn’t believe he was getting the lead role in Boardwalk Empire.

After playing the sidekick, loser, and character actor in every show he ever auditioned for, Buscemi couldn’t quite believe it when Terence Winter offered him the lead in the award-winning Boardwalk Empire.

“When Terry did call me and he said that he and Marty wanted me to play this role, my response was, ‘Terry, I know you’re looking at other actors, and I just appreciate that my name is being thrown in.’ He said, ‘No, Steve, I just said we want you.’ It still didn’t sink in.”

Now you know!

10 Facts About Sophie Turner You Should Check out

Sophie Turner is HUGE right now. The 23-year-old actress became a household name on the HBO blockbuster Game of Thrones and since then she’s hit the big screen in X-Men: Apocalypse and X-Men Dark Phoenix, playing Jean Grey.

She’s also married to singer Joe Jonas, and her profile is bigger than ever right now. But there’s still a lot you probably don’t know about the woman who brought the unforgettable character of Sansa Stark to life.

Here are 10 facts about her.

1. Working-class roots

View this post on Instagram

On #WorldChildrensDay it’s exciting for me to announce my collaboration with #LVforUNICEF to design a friendship bracelet. I want to explain the significance of the colors and also the charm that I designed. As we know, LV is known for being a brand all about travel and so the brands identity itself is important when collaborating with a charity that is prevalent all over the world. It’s all about bringing people together. I wanted my bracelet to hold luck for all the children whom the proceeds from this bracelet go to. So I wanted to integrate the idea of luck and also inclusion of many countries and cultures. I wanted to have the braids made of two colours; red and white. Red is considered a lucky colour in China. And the white coincides with my idea for having the little circular charm on the bracelet, a rabbit. A. Because WHITE rabbits are considered very lucky in the UK and a rabbit foot is considered lucky in many parts of Europe, China, Africa, North and South America. It also has a little bit of me on there because I have the same rabbit designed tattooed on my arm by @curtmontgomerytattoos #MAKEAPROMISE ? ✈ ?

A post shared by Sophie Turner (@sophiet) on

Although Turner is now a huge Hollywood star, she comes from a working-class family in Chesterton, Warwickshire, England. Her mother was a teacher and her father worked for a company that delivered pallets to warehouses.

2. In the mud

She was well-prepared for all the mud and muck on the set of Game of Thrones. Turner said, “My childhood was pretty fun. We had pigsties, barns, and a paddock, and used to muck around in the mud.”

3. Big screen jump

Her big-screen debut was in 2013 with the independent thriller Another Me. Her co-stars included Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Claire Forlani, and Rhys Ifans.

4. Competition

In order to land the role of Jean Grey in the X-Men movies, Turner had to beat out many other actresses who were considered for the role, including Elle Fanning, Hailee Steinfeld, Saoirse Ronan, and Margot Robbie.

5. That’s strange…

Posted by Sophie Turner on Saturday, June 15, 2019

Turner takes over the Jean Grey role from actress Famke Janssen, and the two surprisingly have a few things in common. Neither are natural redheads and they’re both exactly one inch taller than the actor who plays their love interest, Cyclops.

Tye Sheridan is 5’8” and Sophie Turner is 5’9”. James Marsden is 5’10”, while Janssen is 5’11”

6. Inked

Turner and her Game of Thrones co-star Maisie Williams are very close offscreen. So much so that they have matching tattoos. They both have “07.08.09” tattoos, which is the date they both learned they were cast on the hit show.

7. Furry friend

No, direwolves don’t really exist – but during the filming of GOT, Turner fell so in love with the Northern Inuit dog playing her direwolf on the show that she ended up adopting the pup, whose name is Zunni.

8. Slide into my DMs

It’s hard to get away from social media these days, and that even applies to big Hollywood stars. Turner and Joe Jonas had a few friends on Instagram and Jonas decided to direct message her for a chat one evening. And the rest is history…

9. Take some time off

The final season of GOT received mixed reviews from fans and critics, and Turner took the negative criticism very personally. She took it so hard that she revealed it had caused her major depression and in the spring of 2019 she would take a break from acting.

10. A young star

Turner has been interested in acting from a very young age. She joined a well-known children’s theater company when she was only 3-years-old.

She’s a lifer!

Christopher Walken is now 76-years-old and he’s cooler than ever. And he just gets better with age, doesn’t he?

Let’s run down just a small list of the movies he’s given great performances in: Pulp Fiction, The Deer Hunter, Catch Me if You Can, True Romance.

Oh, and another thing: the man can dance.

A lot of people don’t know that Walken started out his career in the entertainment industry as a dancer. He actually started dancing at the age of three. Walken said,

“It was very typical for people—and I mean working-class people—to send their kids to dancing school. You’d learn ballet, tap, acrobatics, usually you’d even learn to sing a song.”

For a lot of folks, their first introduction to Walken’s smooth moves was from the 2001 music video for Fatboy Slim’s Weapon of Choice. The video was directed by Spike Jonze and a lot of people realized for the first time that Walken was a very talented dancer.

None other than Liza Minnelli said about Walken,

“I’d been around dancers my whole life, having watched my parents make musicals at MGM, and Chris reminded me of so many of the dancers I knew growing up. He’s talented in every way.”

That’s pretty high praise from a Hollywood icon who grew up in the industry.

Here’s the full video for your viewing pleasure.

The man is an American treasure.

No doubt about that.

People Share the Movies They Consider to Be Perfect

What are some of your favorite movies? Movies you consider flawless?

I know which movies I would consider perfect. The WarriorsBack to the FutureSlap Shot, the original Halloween from 1978, and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre from 1974.

AskReddit users shared what they believe are perfect films.

1. Dr. Strangelove

“Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb.

The idea that all of humanity could come to an end because the people in charge are idiots still blows my mind. This movie was made 55 years ago.”

2. Little Miss Sunshine

“Little Miss Sunshine.

The characters, and the cast selected for them, absolutely brilliant. The storyline is really in depth yet relatable because the Hoover’s are like any other family; complicated. The writing is superb, all the characters have development and impactful scenes. And the camerawork…my word is it phenomenal. Time and time again each shot is symbolic.

Every character’s position in frame means something. Fantastic work. And don’t get me started on the soundtrack. If you’re not blown away by any of the sheer skill I’ve mentioned, the music throughout will definitely sway you. Touching and emotive, so fitting. It’s so lovely and I always get emotional by its beauty every time I watch it.”

3. Alien

“The original Alien. I’m 24 years old, born in 1995. First time watching was in the grandparents farmhouse in Ireland. Grandmother puts it on at 10:30 and says “enjoy lads, love you both” and leaves us with coca cola, crisps.. you name it we had it, all the munchies two twelve year olds could want. End of the film and I’ve never been so fucking terrified. Still scares me to this day and I practically know it word for word!”

4. Blues Brothers

“The first Blues Brothers.

It’s 106 miles to Chicago, we have a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it’s dark and we’re wearing sunglasses.”

5. The Thing

“John Carpenter’s The Thing

It’s the perfect blend of isolation, paranoia, bloody horror, practical effects, and a shapeshifting alien.”

6. Raiders of the Lost Ark

“Raiders of the Lost Ark is the perfect action movie for me. The intro to Indiana Jones in the jungle is perfect, even with little dialogue. The pacing is great, the characters are solid, the humor is natural, the environments are diverse, and the music is unforgettable. Just an awesome, fun time.”

7. The Hunt for Red October

“The Hunt for Red October.

Believable characters, believable tech even for the one bleeding edge thing that underpins the whole movie. Deaths are few and significant. Very little in the way of special effects so what is there doesn’t screw things up too badly.

It’s a repeat watch for me.”

8. What About Bob?

“What About Bob?

Richard Dreyfus legitimately hated Bill Murray on set. Julie Hagerty is a comic genius, Charlie Korsmo puts in a child performance for the ages, and for bonus a young Katherine Erbe from Law & Order!”

9. Back to the Future

“Back to the Future (the first one, though I do enjoy the other two). The dialogue is brilliantly tight, the acting is incredible and the story while bizarre is original and executed flawlessly and includes some truly iconic sequences (the skateboard chase scene, the insane bedroom scene with his mom, the parking lot knockout, the johnny b. goode sequence, etc).

Also, the whole aesthetic of the movie is one big masterpiece. The set pieces, the cinematography, the soundtrack – it all fits together as one. When I think of “movie magic” this is one of the movies that comes to mind.”

10. Prisoners

“Prisoners. It never had a dull moment and always makes you think- like if you’re in that situation what would you do? Or.. Oh he’s the one who did it, fuck nvm it’s her! oh it’s him for sure or maybeee it’s.. etc. Etc. The acting is only just the best acting can ever reach. Ugh everything was just genius from start, middle to end.”

11. Airplane!

“Airplane!

This is one of those movies that’s the equivalent of the Ballmer Peak. If the comedy broke just a little, or the timing was off, it would be really bad. Instead it’s comedic genius from Mrs. Cleaver being the only one who could speak Jive to all the exterior shots of a jet that has propeller noises.”

12. Die Hard

“Die Hard.

Perfect action movie. Also, Alan Rickman.”

13. Children of Men

“Children of Men. Its cinematography is incredible. The acting and story flow of events is also perfect. Everything came together and its beautiful.”

14. The Prestige

“The Prestige

Has big names, good unexpected and believable twists, a touch of sci fi, and touches on some interesting moralethical dilemmas that humanity might need to deal with one day.”

15. Gladiator

“Gladiator.

Character development, the pace, the ending, everything was perfect.”

Take a Look at the Trailer for the Upcoming Tom Hanks Film About ‘Mister Rogers’

Fred Rogers (1928-2003) has been gone for 16 years now, but his memory and legacy is being kept alive by his legions of adoring fans. And now Hollywood is helping out as well.

Mister Rogers already got the documentary film treatment with 2018’s critically acclaimed Won’t You Be My Neighbor?, and now Tom Hanks will star as the iconic television host in the upcoming film A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood.

The film is based on a 1998 article by Tom Junod for Esquire magazine. Junod’s article detailed the effect Rogers had on millions of fans (and Junod himself) because of his kindness and optimism.

From the reactions on social media, it looks like people are going to need a whole lot of Kleenex to get through this film.

Tom Hanks looks to be the perfect choice to play Fred Rogers, doesn’t he? A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood also stars Matthew Rhys, Chris Cooper, and Susan Kelechi Watson.

Check out the trailer for A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood.

Fred Rogers hosted his famous television program from 1968-2001, and I think it’s pretty safe to say he made an enormous impact on people all over the world. Rogers’ home state of Pennsylvania even has a holiday to honor the man himself. 1-4-3 will now be celebrated every year on May 23 as a statewide day of kindness.

The film is set to open on November 22, 2019. As the person said in one of the tweets above, go ahead and take my money. NOW.

Here’s a Sneak Peek at the Trailer for ‘Top Gun: Maverick’

If you weren’t around for in 1986, it’s kind of hard to describe how popular Top Gun was, but trust me, it was HUGE. My older brother even entertained the idea of becoming a fighter pilot for about four days.

Like I said, it was HUGE.

Well, we’re all in luck again! Top Gun: Maverick is set to hit the big screen next summer and original stars Tom Cruise (Maverick) and Val Kilmer (Iceman) are reprising their roles. Joining them will be Jon Hamm, Jennifer Connelly, Miles Teller (who plays Goose’s son from the 1986 film), and Ed Harris. The original Top Gun was directed by the late Tony Scott, and this time around, Joseph Kosinski (Tron: Legacy) is at the helm.

Here’s a sharp poster for the new film.

Concerning the action in the new film, Jon Hamm said, “We’re shooting the movie in, I think, 6K. So it’s incredibly hi-def. The aerial footage is mind-blowing. And it’s mostly practical. There’s not a lot of CG. Those guys are really up in planes and getting thrown around in multiple Gs.”

We don’t know a whole lot about the plot yet, but from the preview, it looks like it will be fully locked and loaded with action.

Top Gun: Maverick hits theaters on June 26, 2020. Check out the trailer below.

I don’t know about you, but I am excited about this one! Let’s hope that we get another love scene set to “Take My Breath Away.”
