Use the Face Swap App on Your Tattoo and the Results Are Quite Disturbing

I’m warning you that you might want to avert your eyes or close them very soon.

Because what you’re about to see is quite disturbing.

You’ve probably seen people posting photos using the Face Swap app of them switching heads with their kids or their friends, but now people are doing it with their tattoos.

An Instagram page called Tattoo Face Swaps collects these kinds of creepy photos on their page and we have to say that they are unsettling…but we’ll let you be the judge.

Street Artist’s 3D Chalk Illustrations Are Really Great

I’ve seen a lot of chalk art on the street and on sidewalks lately when I’ve been taking walks, but I’ve never in my life seen anything quite like the chalk art of a man named David Zinn.

He creates really cool, 3-D chalk art of little creatures and animals and he uses the street as his canvas.

He describes his work this way: “Street artist specializing in small-scale, improvised and (mostly) light-hearted chalk art.”

‘Harry Potter’ Face Mask Shows the Marauder’s Map When You Breathe

If you’re a “Harry Potter” fan, then you probably know the Marauder’s Map, that magical document that revealed all sorts of hidden passageways and secret compartments at The Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and beyond.

Harry received the map from Fred and George Weasley during his third year at Hogwarts and it proved to be a game-changer.

If you’ve always dreamed of having your own Marauder’s Map, you’re in luck. And you can even wear this version on your face.

The face mask starts off as a dusky black color. But once you put it on and start breathing into it, it slowly unveils the Marauder’s Map. So cool!

The map is the brainchild of Colorado artist Stefanie Hokashou, who works under the brand name Colorado Pony Express. As you might imagine, as soon as she posted this magical map face mask on TikTok, people lost their minds and started scrambling to buy them from her. So, yes, they’re sold out. Hokashou is working furiously to make more, no doubt.

Here’s how the map works. It features nontoxic heat-activated dyes. When the dyes reach 82 degrees, the mask color changes from black to reveal the map.

Hook also makes plush dolls, slimes and custom orders. She’s also into art quilts, cosplay/wearable art and dragons, according to a Facebook group she runs.

Just imagine — this artist’s career is likely skyrocketing right now because she created this innovative face mask. People sure love their “Harry Potter” merch!

Ryan Berkley creates a lot of different illustrations, but I have to say that I’m a huge fan of his pieces that feature animals dressed to the nines. We’re talking about all decked out in style.

Penguins Roamed Around an Empty Art Museum While We Were in Lockdown

What do you do when you’re a penguin and you have nothing to do because all of the humans that usually come see you are in lockdown?

Why, take a trip to the art museum, of course! Because there are no people there either!

Hey, birds need a little art and culture every once in a while, too. These penguins from the Kansas City Zoo took a little field trip to the nearby Nelson-Atkins Museum.

You can see how much they thoroughly appreciated the fine art exhibits in the video below:

These cute little tuxedo guys are Humboldt penguins, and their names are Bubbles, Maggie and Berkley.

“Humboldt penguins in human care can live well into their thirties. In the wild, Humboldt penguins are facing habitat loss and suffering from overfishing which depletes their food sources,” a Kansas City Zoo spokesperson said. “Unfortunately, our penguins can’t speak for themselves, but we think they found the experience at the museum very enriching!”

After the penguins went back home to the zoo, museum staffers got curious and went looking for any penguin-themed art in the museum’s collection.

They found at least one painting they could have shown the little birds, but somehow I doubt the penguins would have recognized their feathered brethren in this dark painting.

Rivalry Between Two Artists is Epically Hilarious

We love a good rivalry. The Capulets and the Montagues. The Avengers versus Thanos. Harry Potter versus Voldemort. The list goes on.

Apparently, the art world has one of the best rivalries of all time. This petty feud is truly next-level, and if you haven’t heard of it, you’ll be super familiar by the end of this Tumblr thread.

The feud is between two artists: Anish Kapoor and Stuart Semple. Here’s how it gets started:

Artist Creates IKEA Instructions on How to Make Horror and Sci-Fi Characters

As a big fan of all things horror and science fiction, I have to say that I LOVE these illustrations.

They come to us from an illustrator named Ed Harrington who lives in Virginia.

Among other artworks, Harrington draws characters from horror and sci-fi movies as though they were instructions from IKEA.

The end products are totally awesome and also pretty funny, if you ask me.
