Funny Kids Who Obviously Have No Filter

If you spend enough time around kids you’ll learn one thing very quickly: they have no filter and they say things that sometimes catch adults completely off guard.

But, hey, it’s what kids do, right?

You might say they just don’t know any better, but maybe they DO know better and they just don’t care because they are little devils.

The jury is still out on that one…

Let’s take a look at funny kids who have ZERO FILTER.

1. The kid is right in this case…

All because of me…

2. Oh, gross!

You should’ve just said 100% MEAT.

3. That kid has a sick sense of humor.

7. Didn’t need to hear that one.

Like I said, NO FILTER.

8. Hahahaha. That’s good.

Even the kids know…

9. Teaching Dad a lesson.

You won’t make that mistake again, will you?

10. Not my department.

This kid is going places!

11. Brutally honest.

This is kind of amazing.

12. Ouch…a sick burn.

Sometimes, kids can really cut deep.

13. Best/Worst Dad Ever!

A big blow to the ego.

Kids just say the darndest things, don’t they?

How adorable! How sweet! How precious!

Or something like that…I don’t know…

People Who Aren’t Following the Rules During This Current Situation

This current situation we’re in really sucks.

That’s why we all need to do our part and stay home whenever possible and minimize contact with other people as much as we can.

Buuuuut, some people aren’t getting the message on how to follow the rules and regulations.

I’m sure you’ve seen it where you live.

Here are some photos of the weird, funny, and frankly DUMB way that some people are acting right now.

A Man Told His Wife They’re Both Pregnant Since He Works So Much

Trying to figure out an equal division of labor at home is hard. Like, really hard. It’s especially hard when one partner is pregnant, nursing or otherwise rearing small children. Children are exhausting, period, no matter what age they’re at.

But on the flip side, if the other partner is putting in long hours to help pay for said children, that can really start to become a grind, too. Call it an impasse — no one is super happy.

One man took to Reddit to ask if he’s an asshole for telling his wife they’re essentially both pregnant because he has to work such long hours.

You can read the full tale below:

AITA for telling my wife that we’re BOTH pregnant? from AmItheAsshole

Reddit users had A LOT to say to this guy. And most of it wasn’t very nice. If he was hoping Reddit would provide a little sympathy, he was sadly mistaken.

One commenter even went so far as to say that this guy is heading toward a divorce:

Another user pointed out that if he wants to play video games, he needs to sacrifice some of his own time to do that:

Other users wondered if he was being overdramatic even in how he wrote the post:

Plus, they astutely noted that being in a marriage isn’t about tit for tat all the time:

And that he’s not doing anywhere near the amount of work his wife is doing anyway:

And he gets to play his video games. Did he ever stop to think about when his wife gets downtime?

Bottom line, the dude’s a big ol’ asshole:

This one seems pretty clearcut but of course, there are always shades of grey. You’ll notice that the original poster edited his post to say that his wife actually found this thread and wants to get couples counseling.

We hope he agrees to go and that he takes it seriously.

What’s your take? Is this guy overreacting? Should his wife be more understanding? Something else in the middle?

Let us know in the comments!

These Kids All Wrote Hilariously Dramatic Breakup Letters

As the saying goes, breaking up is hard to do.

Especially when you’re young and you have to do it by letter!

I remember these days well. Middle school and high school were full of intrigue and drama people breaking up with each other via notes in between classes.

It was all very exciting…when it wasn’t happening to you.

Let’s take a trip down memory lane and look at these breakup letters that are pretty entertaining.

Dad Takes His Kids Back in Time by Building a Giant Dinosaur Jungle Gym

A lot of dads try DIY projects at home for their kids. But Matthew Cosman pretty much locked up the “Dad of the Year” award for 2020 by taking his jungle gym project to gigantic proportions.

While most kids would be satisfied with the run-of-the-mill swing set, Cosman’s kids got much more than that. In fact, the dedicated dad constructed a massive 14-meter dinosaur jungle gym that looks like museum-worthy.

“I really did this and shared it for fun. I fabricate for a living because it’s my passion—I make fun things for me because no one will pay me to build these crazy things. I do have a history in aerospace engineering, so that played a big role here,” explained the dinosaur-inspired dad.

So how did this awesome dad accomplish this impressive build?

The project included a variety of materials, including structural steel and wood, foam, chicken wire, paint and concrete…lots of concrete. The masterpiece turned out 48 feet long, which seems pretty lifelike.

For science enthusiasts, the body of the massive dinosaur appears to be an Apatosaurus, which lived in the late Jurassic period. Of course, the 14.3-meter long creation has tons of fun features to keep Cosman’s kids entertained. Those include swings on the tail, rock climbing handles, rope and monkey bar handles and a crow’s nest on the neck.

This incredible DIY project didn’t pop up overnight, either. Cosman explained that it took years and more than $10,000 to build the one-of-a-kind jungle gym.

And he’s not done yet. Cosman said he’s working on a robotics piece for his house, though his new projects won’t be nearly as large as the dinosaur outside. He sure seems like a Dad of the Year lock to me.

Have you ever taken on a fun DIY project for your kids? Tell us about your experience and how the project turned out in the comments below!

A Girl Turns Her Love of Writing Letters Into an Adorable USPS Correspondence Chain

Writing letters is considered old-fashioned, but an 11-year-old just reminded everyone why it’s never too late to take up an old tradition.

Hugh Weber has a daughter named Emerson. And with a single thank-you note to her mail deliveryman, she sparked a crazy correspondence chain with the USPS that has become a story you simply can’t stop reading about.

Her father took to Twitter to explain the amazing chain of events.

According to Hugh, Emerson writes to more than a dozen of her “favorite people.” She decorates the envelopes by hand, and they certainly boast bright colors and interesting designs.

Because of her dedication to writing letters, Emerson certainly keeps her postman busy. So one day, she decided to thank her mail carrier, Doug, for his hard work and dedication to making sure her recipients received her handwritten, hand-decorated letters.

Incredibly, the day after sticking the thank-you note in the mail, she received a package that included stamps and two letters. Amazingly, after Doug shared Emerson’s letter with his supervisor Sara, she wrote a letter of her own. In it, she explained that Doug’s duties would keep him busy, but that he’d receive any letter Emerson wrote to him.

That’s when things went global.

Sara shared the 11-year-old’s letter in a regional newsletter for Western USPS employees, and many started sending letters of their own to the inspiring kid. Doug showed up with two boxes filled with letters from his fellow USPS employees. They shared jokes and expressions of appreciation for Emerson’s efforts.

In addition, they even shared some of their feelings about being away from their family or the difficulties of their job, as Hugh shared on Twitter.

Overall, the efforts of a young girl led many to open up and share their feelings and struggles through her father’s Twitter DMs. Ironically, Emerson’s age didn’t stop her from using an old way of communicating to inspire many people to do the same. So consider folding up your laptop, picking up a pen and paper and writing a letter to someone meaningful in your life.

When was the last time you wrote a letter? What was it about?

Tell us about your letter writing experience in the comments below!

The 2020 Gerber Baby Breaks Barrier as the First Adopted Baby Chosen for the Campaign

For ten years, Gerber has conducted an annual photo search contest to find its next Gerber Baby. Last year’s winner, broke a big barrier by becoming the first Gerber Baby with Down syndrome. And in 2020, 1-year-old Magnolia made history in another unique way.

By being named the 2020 Gerber Baby, she became the first adopted baby to win earn the coveted title.

She faced huge odds at winning the contest considering 327,000 entries were submitted to the company’s 10th annual photo search. However, the campaign spans back nearly 100 years when Ann Turner Cook became the first-ever Gerber Baby in 1928.

It certainly represented a fantastic turnout for the Earl family, who adopted Magnolia a year ago. Her mom, Courtney, explained how the life-changing phone call went down.

Courtney shared in the press release:

“On May 9th, 2019 we received a call from the Adoption Agency that there was an expectant mom that was in labor and wanted to talk to us.

We pulled off the highway, got a chance to connect with her amazing birth parents, and a few hours later, this sweet baby girl was born.”

The family still stays in contact with their daughter’s biological parents, which isn’t always the case for adopted children. Winning the photo contest represents a huge milestone for babies around the world. Promoting inclusion and diversity certainly seem important to Gerber.

The company said in a statement to TODAY:

“At Gerber, we have always recognized that every baby is a Gerber baby.

In the 10 years we have hosted Photo Search, we have been proud to feature babies of diverse backgrounds. This year is no exception by featuring Magnolia, our first adopted Gerber Spokesbaby.”

Not only do Magnolia and her family take home bragging rights, but there’s also a big payoff for her victory. She will be featured on Gerber’s social media platforms and marketing campaigns. The family will also receive a $25,000 prize and a number of other prizes. Gerber even gave Magnolia a shoutout on their Instagram page for her first birthday.

But ultimately, the real win is the fact that an adopted baby finally took home the coveted Gerber Baby title, which goes to show it doesn’t matter where you come from.

Have you ever been friends with or have a family member with an interesting adoption story?
