There are many reasons that a person might be ready to get rid of something super cool from their home – maybe they got something new, maybe they’re getting divorced, maybe they’re moving and can’t fit it in, maybe they’re downsizing – and since forever, people have been donating old items or selling them in garage sales to pass them along to someone else.
Now, people in NYC are setting unwanted items out on their curbs for free, and others are going around town “stooping” for great finds.
Here are 10 pictures shared by @stoopingnyc that are surely already getting lots of love in their new homes.
10. That’s one cool vase.
I bet it didn’t last long on the street.
9. In case you want to learn a new skill.
You don’t see many of these around these days!
8. It’s unique, that’s for sure.
And you could paint it, but why would you want to?
7. There’s a sign on it that reads “dangerous, do not use.”
That just makes me more curious, tbh.
6. You could resale this for a pretty penny.
Just channel Joanna Gaines.
5. This would look really nice in a nook by the window.
That color will pop in the sun.
4. An eclectic mix of treasures.
You could pick and choose, or ask Jesus for advice.
3. That’s a nice looking chair.
For someone who doesn’t have kids or pets (or a clumsy spouse).
2. This thing has a story to tell.
I’m not sure what it is, but it definitely has one. Or more.
