Have you thought about this question recently? Due to what’s going on in the world, I bet you have.
I have too.
I think my answer would be that I could jump in my car and drive 30 minutes to go see my parents. I obviously can’t do that for a while and honestly, it’s pretty depressing and makes me sad.
A writer named Elan Gale asked this question on Twitter.
Name one thing you will never take for granted again

Let’s see what people had to say.
1. This is a disgrace.
Having the PPE I need to take care of my patients. https://t.co/csp38Hm4a0

2. Famly is everything.
Having lunch with my dad. Coffee at Barry’s Deli. Going to the grocery store whenever. McMenamins. Powell’s. Saturday breakfast and errands with my parents. Plays. Concerts. https://t.co/LNgB4i1CYO

3. Can’t do that right now.
Literally running into 7-11 to grab whatever. Quick spur of the moment stops. Having someone hand me something without being scared. Hugging. https://t.co/jFiRWOr0Z2

4. The world is upside down.
Sharing a meal at a restaurant with friends, not being scared to be around my 91yo father (who’s in hospice at home), being able to easily do my grocery shopping. I could go on and on. https://t.co/Te5RtHDYeE

8. This is sad.
My non-verbal son requesting I rub his arm. He is in lockdown at his group home and I have not touched him for two weeks. Sometimes his constant need for sensory pressure used to bug me. I never realized how soothing it was for me, too- our way of communicating. I miss him.

11. Through the fence…
Mine was “hugging my mom.”
I’ve seen her a couple times since things started but only through my fence. It’s so weird sending her away with no hug.

12. I’d love to go see a movie right now.
Cinemas. I used to go once a week minimum and now I haven’t been in a month, and it really sucks and I miss it. I was getting to the point where I was kinda bored at going, and wanted something new. But I definitely took it for granted.

13. On alert.
Feeling calm when grocery shopping
