As the world gets crazier each day and we get used to spending all of our time at home, there’s been a rush at grocery stores to attempt to stock up on the essentials…and the non-essentials.
But some poor products are being left behind like a sad afterthought…
You’ve probably already seen this at your preferred store, but these photos will really drive the point home that folks won’t buy some products even in the middle of a crisis.
1. Not gonna happen!
What I learned today about panic shopping is no one wants the broccoli pizza crust during a crisis. Btw everyone at #TraderJoes #EastCobb was lovely pic.twitter.com/sAGsuyHp4N

2. I’ll take ’em!
Not even panic buying during a global pandemic do people want frozen peas #traderjoes #coronavirus #panicbuying #globalpandemic pic.twitter.com/x4348l2hHr

3. They’d rather starve.

4. Yucky stuff.
One thing that #covid19 panic shopping has taught us: no one — absolutely no one — wants to eat frozen onions and peppers. #coronavirus #pandemic #shopping #panicbuying @StopandShop pic.twitter.com/ipGPy9TgFu

5. I’m with them on this one.
Americans in panic and emptying store shelves in fear of corona virus….But still nobody wants that nasty shrimp ramen pic.twitter.com/wxJh5yRG3Z

6. A hard pass.
I went to the supermarket and despite all shelves being empty, no one wants to buy Spinach Pasta…. People have standards even when they (clearly) think the apocalypse is coming!! #coronavirus #coronavirusuk #spinachpasta #Tesco #emptyshelves #keepsafe pic.twitter.com/gTlg2VAMV3

7. They don’t sound that horrible…
When people would rather die than eat chicken burrito bowls… #TraderJoes pic.twitter.com/A4ogtePpnj

8. Those both just sound weird.
Somehow reassuring in the midst of #coronavirus shopping frenzy to know that people still have the sense *not* to buy #chocolatehummus and buffalo hummus. #traderjoes #dc pic.twitter.com/fLvuUFWz3Y

9. Not in my house!
Only #vegan pizza left by #coronavirus hoarders. pic.twitter.com/DOA8DTlZjS

10. Maybe they’re really tired of that song…
Even with the Coronavirus causing people to panic at the grocery stores nobody wants Baby Shark Cereal. pic.twitter.com/sV7OLhxQSt

11. Free market research!
Same situation at the #TraderJoes store in Towson. No one wants the Gluten-free battered Halibut. pic.twitter.com/Pnz89hVnUa

Those pics are pretty funny and hopefully we won’t have to deal with this madness for too long…
What’s the scene like at your local grocery store?
