Being able to shop in public is a social contract, or at least it should be. There are folks who are paid to keep shelves stocked and answer our questions and ring up our items before putting them in bags, and in exchange, I think most people try to be courteous and friendly in response.
Some people apparently think they’re the only people in the world, or that they’re better than the people who work retail, or something like that – because there’s no other excuse for behavior like these 10 awful customers exhibited while out at a store.
10. I have so many questions.
There probably aren’t any good answers but I still have them.
9. Pedestrians have the right of way.
But also, you could just not be a jerk.
8. I mean at least put it in the right temperature.
Even if you aren’t going to put it where it belongs.
7. What in the holy hell.
How much time does it take to do this?
6. There are literally trash cans everywhere.
I don’t get why this concept is so hard.
5. What on earth.
Other people do not want to clean up your kid’s excrement. I promise.
4. Was there a tornado?
Made of a$$holes?
3. Not to mention it’s dangerous.
Some people never think of anyone but themselves.
2. I cannot even imagine.
It might be enough to make you *gasp* hate Halloween.
1. Do they need to…step on the rugs?
To see what they look like under their shoes? I don’t…
Seriously, y’all. Don’t be these people. Gah.
If you work retail, I know you’ve got stories for me. Drop them in the comments!
