The last Blockbuster Video is gone with the wind, which is very sad for kids like me who grew up roaming around video stores…
But the good news is that the legacy is still alive with a hilarious Twitter page called “The Last Blockbuster” that imagines what’s still going on inside that one last franchise that’s still holding on for dear life…
We love it and we think that you’ll love it, too.
So enjoy these tweets and have some laughs!
1. God has no place here.
This is where the sinner congregate.
Please stop dropping bibles down the Quickdrop return slot. God abandoned us long ago.

2. Come meet the team!
Sounds like a pretty fun place to work!
Each member of our staff has their own thing. Like I'm good with sports movies, Rustin knows everything about superheroes films, Abigail is great at getting DUIs and keeping her job because she's Colleen's niece.

5. You did what you had to do.
You just couldn’t keep your hands off of it, could you, customers?!?!

6. Guys, please help out in this department.
I don’t think it’s too much to ask.
I can't believe we have to say this but if you knock over a shelf and it lands on an old woman, please help her get out from under it.

7. I love this idea!
I’ll take RoboCop 3!
We're now offering rooftop pickup. Just shout which movie you want into the Quickdrop return slot and Danny will huck it off the roof.

8. Trying to cut out some of the fat.
What about my beloved Horror section?
Due to financial conditions going forward we will only buy a new release if it features Tom Hanks, the Avengers, or both.

9. This could get really ugly.
And super duper weird.
If you accidentally return one of your home videos we can legally rent it out to customers. Not saying we will but we could.

Try not to get on their bad side, okay?
The Girl Scouts are blocking our entrance and when we asked them to move they called us "boomers" and told us to "start shopping for coffins.”

11. We don’t get involved in those kinds of disputes.
How else can we help you?
People always ask us if Die Hard is a Christmas movie and our answer is always the same: Please just rent something.
