This is what I’m talking about, right here!
I only hope I can move like this when I’m 60-years-old. You’ll see what I’m talking about in a minute.
Shirley Clements was getting ready to retire at the age of 60 a few years ago from the school she taught at in Canada. Clements decided she’d go out on a very high note and she performed a hip-hop dance routine with her students that was seriously mind-blowing.
You won’t be surprised to learn that Clements was a dance teacher in the Vancouver area.
It’ll make much more sense when you watch the video at the end of this article.
The performance was part of the Outbreak dance competition that Clements founded almost two decades before she retired.
And for the finale: oh, Clements didn’t do much besides SPINNING ON HER FREAKING HEAD on the floor.
She reminded of Ozone and Turbo from the classic 1980s movie Breakin’.
Here’s the whole video of Shirley Clements absolutely killing it with her students. Be sure to watch the whole thing because you won’t want to miss a second of this performance.
The video has more than 4 million views on YouTube, and for good reason.
That’s wonderful, don’t you think?!?! What a badass!
I, for one, loved this video.
What about you?
Have you ever cut a rug with someone a lot older than you who ended up being a great dancer?
Tell us about it in the comments!
