When His Ex Sent Him an Apology Letter, He Graded It and Sent It Back

There’s nothing worse than being cheated on. It really hurts, and that’s why anyone who’s ever been cheated on loves a good revenge tale. Well, settle in because this one is GOOD.

Nick Lutz, a student at the University of Central Florida, ended his eight-month relationship with the lady in question after he found her suspiciously hiding the names of other guys in her phone. When he also blocked her on social media, she decided to write him a four-page letter trying to win him back.

Instead of grabbing his notepad and writing her back, he grabbed a red pen and started to grade the letter.

He didn’t spare any punches, beginning with a critique of her formatting choices:

He also went in on her spelling mistakes and lack of citations:

Additionally, he took her to task for her excessive use of fillers:

Ultimately, he gave her a D- (though he did give the option of revision for half credit):

Nick’s ex apparently took the grade gracefully and chose not to revise.

Unfortunately, she ended up having a change of heart and reported him to UCF for disruptive conduct and cyberbullying, for which he was suspended.

He ended up having to get an attorney to appeal the suspension, which he eventually won.

Legendary.

Jack Black Accidentally Became a Real-Life Version of the “Distracted Boyfriend” Meme

Jack Black is a man of many talents. Actor, comedian, musician, singer, and YouTube vlogger are just a few of his accomplishments. Now, he can add “meme” to his resume.

The actor accidentally recreated the famous “Distracted Boyfriend” meme while he was walking around Atlanta (where he’s currently shooting the next Jumanji movie). As he was filming a segment for his YouTube channel, he walked by a couple holding hands, causing the boyfriend to do a double take.

The original “Distracted Boyfriend” meme has been around for a while now, showing a man checking out another girl while walking with his girlfriend.

Undoubtedly, the man in this version was undoubtedly thinking “Holy s***, is that Jack Black?!?”

While the “Distracted Boyfriend” meme has plenty of remixes, the fact that it was accidentally recreated so perfectly naturally caught a lot of attention online.

As a matter of fact, people have even made new remixes featuring the Jack Black version:

What a lovely Tribute.

Brilliant Uber Driver Wins the Internet with Menu of 5 Different ‘Ride Types’

Uber has undeniably revolutionized the transportation business. One of my favorite aspects of Uber is the rating system, which lets drivers and passengers rate one another out of 5 stars.

One Uber driver recently went the extra mile to give his passengers more control over their ride experience. This was first brought to the world’s attention via Twitter user @LuisLovesGoats.

The options include: Stand Up, Silent Ride, Therapy Ride, Creepy Ride, and (surprisingly) Rude Ride.

Since Lui was feeling a little down that day, he chose the “Therapy Ride.” It wasn’t long before Lui’s tweets went viral.

Naturally, people absolutely loved it.

Sadly, Lui only had the driver’s first name (George) to go off of, and he had some difficulty getting in touch with him to let him know he’d gone viral. But, the internet being what it is, people eventually tracked him down.

George even got on Twitter himself to thank everyone.

Thanks to the exposure, George now has thousands of new followers, and he shared a clearer shot of his menu for people to enjoy:

He also added how humbling and enjoyable this entire experience has been.

If you’d like to show some love to George, you can hit up the GoFundMe he started to get an automatic car, since Seattle’s hilly terrain can be pretty rough on his transmission.

People Share Stories of Times They Got the Help They Needed, and We Can All Learn from Them

While the narrative of the “self-made man” is one that’s been pushed a lot over the last few decades, the fact of the matter is that everyone needs a helping hand now and then. Even the world’s most powerful CEO is helpless if his sports car breaks down on a remote country road. There’s no shame in it, and it’s important that we give people the help they need when they need it, because you never know how much it might mean to the person you’re helping.

These 10 Twitter users shared their personal stories about when they were in dire straits and received a helping hand that they haven’t ever forgotten about.

1. “It is never wrong to help someone.”

2. It gets better.

3. Everyone deserves a chance.

4. A little goes a long way…

5. “…more than many will ever know.”

6. “Quite well” ain’t too shabby.

7. Teach your children well.

8. “You can’t teach a hungry child.”

9. Pay it back x 100.

10. Hard work.

This is why it is important to never assume anything about anyone, because you never really know where they’ve been and what they are going through unless you’ve walked in their shoes. And if you know someone is in need, help them out in any way you can. Paying it forward is real.

Internet Can’t Stop Laughing at Guy Who Mistook His GF’s Thermometer for a Pregnancy Test

When Izaak Torres of Costa Mesa, California got a text saying “Holy fuck,” from his girlfriend at 4 a.m. in the morning with a photo of a thermometer, he was understandably confused. That confusion may just have led to the “Most Hilarious Mistake Ever.”

His girlfriend, Vanessa Marie, sent him the picture and the text because she was running a 100-degree fever (seen in the photo below).

“I said ‘holy fuck’ because I was so frustrated that it was 4 a.m. and I was dead tired, but I didn’t want to go back to sleep until my fever went down some more,” Vanessa told BuzzFeed News.

Izaak read the text when he woke up briefly at 7 a.m. and he FUH-LIPPED OUT.

Oh, sweetie.

“I didn’t get his text until I woke up around 11 a.m. and I just died laughing,” Vanessa said.

As for Izaak, he realized his own mistake a couple of hours later when he was fully awake. He says he “felt like a dumb ass” but tried to just keep it moving.

Still, Vanessa had to share the screenshot on the internet, because who can miss an opportunity to clown their boyfriend in public?

And Izaak got clowned, alright. Roasted, even.

People pointed out that he must have interpreted the reading as “100% pregnant.”

Which means that if the number had been lower, he’d still have a chance!

This unborn baby just can’t make up its mind!

Or perhaps Izaak thought that his girlfriend was having 100 babies?

One hundred babies is a lot. Even 0.7 fewer babies would be better.

Either way, this dude clearly is not ready for a baby. Not even 50% of one, probably.

Which is really fine because neither is Vanessa.

Luckily the two of them are on the same page and still going strong as a couple. Hopefully, Vanessa is down to a normal temperature by now – 98.6% pregnant.

Gynecologist’s Viral Twitter Thread Sets People Straight on Late-Term Abortions

Late-term abortions have been in the news quite a bit lately due to recent decisions by some states to allow abortions after 24 weeks when medically necessitated.

But, there’s a lot of misinformation out there about late-term abortions.

Like, a lot.

The phrase “late-term abortion” is used to refer to abortions later in pregnancy, typically those after 21 weeks or more of pregnancy.

Dr. Jennifer Gunter, a board-certified gynecologist, took to Twitter to share her experiences and drop some truth regarding these abortions.

Non medically indicated = for no health-related reason. Dr. Gunter means that every single late term abortion she ever performed was for a significant medical reason.

She can think of one case where there are no fetal anomalies, and that one has some pretty horrific circumstances. The rest …

Clearly, no one is making these decisions lightly.

These are tragic situations, and those who are facing these decisions should be treated with empathy and understanding, not judgment.
