Don’t let the horrors of the world weigh heavy on your heart. There’s always joy to be found, if you take a moment to look.

Let’s turn that frown upside down (or at least give it a shot) with these 10 memes that just might make you smile.

But your day CAN get better. And if not your day, then your week. And if not your week, then your month. And if not your MONTH then your YEAR!

Ok, so hopefully it gets better before then. Let’s focus on the positive.

What’s ONE good thing that’s happened to you lately? Let us know in the comments!

Tumblr Users Wrote a Marvel/Star Wars Crossover We All Want to See

There are like, what, 400 MCU movies now? A few are really excellent, most are pretty good, some are a little ho-hum. But with the huge volume of characters that have been pulled in at this point (not to mention the massive trove of other properties Disney owns), the possibilities for future stories are truly infinite.

Here’s a pitch some Tumblr users put together for an installment that I personally think would blow Ant Man the Wasp out of the water.

“There’s an Ant Man AND a Spiderman?”

Then you pull in that other massive Disney franchise, and things get REAL…

You know they’ll bring Tony back eventually, so… he’s gonna join the fun ASAP.

Just imagine the soundtrack of this thing!

Cue the Guardians of the Galaxy…

Personally, I’m a little burned out on the MCU, but I would see the hell out of this.

Would you? Pitch your next big Marvel idea in the comments.

Who know… they might be watching…

Some People Are Upset by Ryan Reynold’s Reaction to Spiderman Leaving Marvel

News flash: A financial rift between Disney and Sony caused Tom Holland’s Spiderman to exit the MCU – and as most people agree that this iteration of Spiderman is the best one, the internet is understandably upset.

And they’re also none too happy with Ryan Reynolds’ (Deadpool) reaction to the news – but only because he’s reiterated the grief tugging on everyone’s hearts.

Maybe people figured that, given that Reynolds was behind the campaign to get Deadpool movie made (he didn’t give up for over a decade!), he might be willing to step in and defend Tom Holland’s Spiderman with the same rigor.

Not so much. It seems like confirmation that there’s nothing to be done – or that none of the major MCU actors are going to break with the company line to rope him back in.

Womp-womp.

Here Are Some Tweets About Spiderman Leaving the Marvel Cinematic Universe

You were probably as shell-shocked as the rest of us were to learn that Disney’s rift with Sony meant that Tom Holland’s Spiderman (arguably the best iteration) would be getting the boot.

In order to make everyone laugh (to keep from crying), the internet has come through with some pitch-perfect tweets and memes.

13. Meme perfection.

12. Basically.

11. A common enemy is a powerful thing.

10. It’s extra rough when you can’t even drink.

9. The web-rope isn’t that strong.

2. I can’t.

1. This made me laugh so hard.

It doesn’t take the hurt away, but it does help a little bit!

Banker Quits His Job, Dresses as Spider-Man on His Last Day

Over the years, a lot of famous actors have donned the red-and-blue tights of Spider-Man to thrill movie audiences around the world. While they’ve all been (mostly) great, I’d argue that this anonymous bank worker from Sao Paolo, Brazil, might have worn the outfit best.

He decided to slip into the spandex on his last day of work, and naturally, hilarity ensued.

Is it good or bad that he worked in the analysis department of a bank and therefore saw no customers in “uniform?”

I suppose it depends on who you ask.

His fellow employees obviously enjoyed the prank, and one of them Instagrammed the picture-perfect moment saying: “Last day of work and this person is driving the boss mad.”

Overall, everyone else was pleased he decided to show up for his last day in full Spiderman regalia. Especially since he handed out candy as part of his schtick — which perhaps makes him the best Spider-Man ever.

If you’re leaving your job and have no need of a recommendation or referral in the future, then, I mean, why not go out with a bang?

Or a web?

I, for one, salute you, sir. I just hope there were no encounters with actual radioactive spiders to make this day possible.
