Photographer’s Dog Portraits Are Simply Great

Unleashed Fur is a pet photography company located in Idaho and they do incredible work.

Each photo is totally unique, beautiful, and really gets to the essence of each individual dog.

Which is important, because, if you’re a dog lover, you know how different each pooch really is and how every single one has a great and original personality.

Let’s take a look at the work from Unleashed Fur.

I think you’re going to be very impressed. We know we are! These are great!

1. Running through fields!

Scout looks very happy!

I got to spend some time with Scout this morning in a field of flowers! There is a perfect path to walk between so we didn't smoosh them while doing the photo session ??? I'm doing outdoor photos if you've been thinking about getting a session booked. . . . . . #dogs #dogsofinstagram #boisepetphotographer #instagram #boise #catahoulasofinstagram #puppy #dog #petphotography #petphotographer #catahoulaleoparddog #7pets #ellendegeneres #theellenshow #adoptdontshop #furryfriend #kathrynalbertsonpark #photooftheday #boisephotographer #dogphotoshoot #pawsup #dogphotography #professionalpetphotography #iamboise #dogsarethebest #canonusa #canon #weirddog #dogphotographer #californiapoppies

Enjoying some time out in the woods.

5. A case of the Mondays.

Oh, Olive, what will you do next?

6. Maui catching treats!

Good job, boy!

7. Come on, let’s see a smile!

Yesterday I got to meet this lovely lady, Serena, and walk through the Oregon forest. Well that's what it felt like anyway with all this rain! She was perfect at posing and is an IDAPI graduate from the Idaho Humane Society. Isn't she beautiful? It was her mom's birthday and this is what she wanted to do as her present. I feel honored to be able to facilitate this gift to her. ??? If you've been thinking about doing an outdoor session, now is a great time to schedule one! . . . . . #dogs #dogsofinstagram #boisepetphotographer #instagram #boise #labsofinstagram #puppy #dog #petphotography #petphotographer #labradorretriever #blackdog #ellendegeneres #theellenshow #adoptdontshop #furryfriend #kathrynalbertsonpark #photooftheday #boisephotographer #dogphotoshoot #pawsup #dogphotography #professionalpetphotography #iamboise #dogsarethebest #canonusa #canon #weirddog #dogphotographer #7pets

9. This one is really great.

That’s a dog, not a cow!

10. Bella is a beauty.

Read the caption. Pretty sad.

I was contacted a few days ago by Bella's owner after she received a devastating diagnosis of her beloved dog, who just last week was acting fine. I think many of us know all too well the feeling of one day having a dog who is playful and energetic to one that has limited time. It's a crushing, helpless, punch in the gut. I know there's so much going on in our world right now but please keep Bella and her owner in your thoughts. She was a little tired during her photo shoot but I think we got some really sweet photos for her pretty little face. . . . . . #dogs #dogsofinstagram #boisepetphotographer #instagram #boise #westie #puppy #dog #petphotography #petphotographer #westiesofinstagram #cutedog #ellendegeneres #theellenshow #adoptdontshop #furryfriend #kathrynalbertsonpark #photooftheday #boisephotographer #dogphotoshoot #pawsup #dogphotography #professionalpetphotography #iamboise #dogsarethebest #canonusa #canon #weirddog #dogphotographer #waterfall

11. The great outdoors.

Moose is a big, goofy guy.

12. Chief looks very wise.

We could all learn from him.

13. Enjoying the sunshine.

That’s a HUGE smile

Those photos are really great, aren’t they?

Now we want to hear from you!

In the comments, please share some photos of your pooches and tell us a little bit about them.

We look forward to hearing from you!

A Kansas City Chiefs Player Celebrates Super Bowl Victory by Paying the Adoption Fees for 100+ Shelter Dogs

The Kansas City Chiefs are champions for the first time in 50 years, and one player celebrated by doing something great for his community…and for a whole lot of animals.

Chiefs defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi paid the adoption fees for every dog that was available at the KC Pet Project shelter. The total was more than 100 pooches looking for a forever home.

KC WINS! We are so excited to announce that the Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle, Derrick Nnadi is choosing to…

Posted by KC Pet Project on Sunday, February 2, 2020

Tori Fugate of the KC Pet Project said, “KC Pet Project cares for over 10,000 pets a year, so partnerships like this are so wonderful to help our pets find loving, forever homes. We’re thrilled and honored that Derrick Nnadi chose to do this to help us save lives in Kansas City. Our community is on cloud nine following last night’s win and this is such a heartwarming story to go along with this huge victory.”

When Nnadi played college football at Florida State, he adopted a shelter dog named Rocky. He said, “All my life, I always wanted a dog. When I first got him, he was very timid. It made me think of how other animals, whether they’re owned or in a shelter, are feeling scared and alone.”

Nnadi has been active in charity work in both Kansas City and his hometown of Virginia Beach, Virginia, since he joined the NFL in 2018.

And here’s a bonus: the story about Nnadi’s generosity became so popular that TV host Rachael Ray decided to pay for dog food for all the 109 pooches once they get adopted from the KC Pet Project.

Great work to everyone involved! And go Chiefs!

An 89-Year-Old Woman Generously Knits Blankets for Shelter Dogs

If you’re a dog lover like me, it often hurts our hearts that we can only save so many of the good girls and boys who need homes and humans to love them. People who volunteer for shelters have the biggest hearts of all – seeing and assuaging suffering every single day and knowing the entire time that there’s only so much they can do.

When an English dog shelter, Dogs Trust, put out a call a few years ago for knitted dog coats, 89-year-old Maisie Green answered with gusto.

“Nifty with needles or handy with a crochet hook? We’re calling all crafty types to contribute home-made dog coats for our Hope Project Christmas hampers,” said the Dogs Trust Facebook page.

She’s been bringing in home-knitted blankets and coats three times a year for the past three years – around a dozen each time (around 450 total) – and has no plans to stop.

“I love knitting and I love dogs, so this combines both wonderfully! It takes me three days to knit a blanket and one day to knit a doggy coat. It keeps me busy and often, I like to knit whilst watching television. I’m delighted to be helping the four-legged residents at the center in some way,” Green said.

The dogs are happy, Maisie is happy, and the shelter is happy, too.

“Maisie regularly brings along her knitted donations and we are so grateful for her support. With the chill of the winter months really starting to creep up on us, I know our dogs are very pleased to put the items to good use – and love feeling extra cosy!” said the rehoming manager at Dogs Trust.

A win, win, win – and a bunch of too-cute pictures to boot!
