A Guy Pranked San Francisco by Placing Airpod Stickers All over Town

AirPods aren’t cheap and everybody wants a pair of them. Also, if you do own a pair, you know by now that you can lose them at any moment. It’s kind of like owning a pair of earrings or a wedding ring that you regularly take off and put somewhere random.

Some funny fellow took advantage of the AirPods phenomenon and decided to pull a prank…on the entire city of San Francisco. A guy named Pablo Rochat printed up life-sized AirPod stickers and stuck them on the ground all over San Francisco.

They look very realistic, so you know that people who saw these on the ground either thought to themselves, “Shit, I just dropped an AirPod”, or “Awesome, someone else dropped their AirPod and now it’s MINE.”

Rochat said, “I often see people drop their AirPods, so I thought it would be funny to make it look like people are dropping their AirPods all over the city and see if people would try to pick them up.”

Rochat added, “That’s the best part. I love putting AirPod stickers on the ground and standing back to see people try to pick them up. Some people are amused by it, but a few have been angry that they were pranked. Joke’s on them!”

Here’s the best part: if you want to try this out in your hometown, Rochat tweeted out the free template for the AirPod stickers so we can all get in on the action. I’m know what I’m gonna do this weekend…I hope I don’t get beat up…again.

LOLzzzzzzzzz.

This Dad Bought a Christmas Tree and Trolled His Wife with Photoshopped Pics

This turned out to be quite a combination: a dad left on his own to shop without his wife and a dad who knew how to use Photoshop to mess with that wife.

The dad I’m talking about went to buy a Christmas tree without his wife because she was too busy and so he decided to mess with her a little bit using Photoshop to convince her that he bought an enormous tree.

Take a look at the whole conversation, which was posted on Imgur.

Remember the Story About the Waitress Who Sued Hooters for Giving Her a Toy Yoda Instead of a Toyota?

In our strange world of social media and online news, stories that went “viral” a long time ago reappear out of the blue for some reason. Can we explain it? No, but we roll with it, that’s for sure! And this tale is pretty funny, too.

Let’s turn back the clock to 2001…

A woman named Jodee Berry was working as a waitress at Hooters in Florida (of course) all those years ago when her restaurant held a contest among its workers: whoever got the best beer sales would win a new Toyota…err…make that a “Toy Yoda.” Ouch.

Hooters

Berry worked hard and knocked her beer sales out of the park. When the big day came for her to get her prize, a brand new car or so she thought, she was instead presented with a toy version of Yoda from Star Wars in a box. Berry was PISSED, as I’m sure a lot of us would be.

A new Toy Yoda indeed ?

She was so pissed, in fact, that she not only quit her job at Hooters but she ended up suing the restaurant. The folks at the restaurant claimed the whole thing was just a big April Fools’ joke. A year later, Berry and the company that owns Hooters settled outside of court. Berry’s attorney said that the settlement was enough so that Berry could “pick out whatever type of Toyota she wants.”

I think I would be pretty pissed off too, to tell you the truth. What would you do in this situation? Poor Ms. Berry…

This Guy Made a “Glitter Bomb” that Blows Up in Amazon Thieves’ Faces

YouTuber Mark Rober has a pretty impressive engineering background, having worked on the Mars Rover for NASA. Needless to say, when you steal a package from a guy like that, he’s going to start finding creative solutions to the problem. Guys like Mark aren’t content with just calling the cops and getting just regular old revenge against them. Nope, he spent six months building a glitter bomb that would self-detonate when the thieves opened the package.

To be fair, Mark had no choice! The local police told him they didn’t have time to investigate the robberies, even though Mark had captured the whole thing on his home surveillance camera.

“I just felt like something needs to be done to take a stand against dishonest punks like this,” Mark explained.

“If anyone was going to make a revenge bait package and over-engineer the crap out of it, it was going to be me.”

The glitter bomb also included four cameras to capture the thieves’ reactions, which took a good deal of ingenuity. There was also fart spray!

As a hint to any would-be thieves, Mark wrote a fake return address using the names and location of Home Alone. Luckily for viewers at home, it didn’t deter the thieves.

The glitter bomb package completely worked, as you can see in the video below.

Thankfully, the same bait package can be retrieved and used more than once. Genius.

Senior Class Pulls off an Epic Prank

This should make all seniors past, present, and future pretty jealous. I know I am. High school seniors in Cumberland, Wisconsin pulled off such a great prank that the local police department even congratulated them.

Looks like a car slammed through a wall at the school, right? WRONG. The crafty seniors used an old car, a black tarp, bricks, and some tapes to create the optical illusion. The back of the car said “CHS Class of 2018.”

Principal Ritchie Narges said, “It looked very, very real. But then I thought, ‘This has gotta be a prank. If this is the worst thing our kids are going to do, we’ve got some pretty darn good kids.”

Indeed.
