#WhyImSingle Hashtag Might Make You Feel Better About Your Own Life…Maybe

I’ve been single for quite a while now, and I’m okay with that.

I know I have my quirks and I also know that it’s gonna take a very special someone for me to give up my independence.

And knowing is half the battle, right?

These brave souls were nice enough to get real about why they’re single. Let’s dive in.

1. That wasn’t a compliment.

In case you didn’t know.

2. That’s your best?

If you say so…

3. Never give up hope!

That call might come tomorrow.

4. Now it’s over.

Time to move on.

5. You’re lying!

That was a test.

6. That could be a problem.

Just letting you know.

7. I’m right about this!

People and their laundry…sheesh.

8. Not the one.

Not by a longshot.

9. Father always knows best.

And here’s one more example.

10. Can I clone myself?

And sleep in a cave?

11. Find your happiness.

Focus on yourself!

People Revise Song Lyrics for Jimmy Fallon, Hoping to Capture the Reality of 2020

Sometimes, night show host Jimmy Fallon asks his audience on Twitter to help him really nail a hashtag, and I’ve got to say, those are some of my favorite episodes. Regular people, it turns out, are pretty funny.

And listen, the best way to deal with 2020 is to laugh. I think.

Enter these 13 hilariously revised song lyrics that honestly capture the day.

13. If only we could all say this.

Things might be the slightest bit better.

12. That’s like…a whole version.

Commitment is impressive.

11. This is kind of brilliant.

I want to hear it outside my head.

10. Preach, sir.

A song for our times.

9. You gotta keep dancing.

No question there.

8. This should remain a hit forever.

Said the introvert.

7. I certainly do.

Theme of the summer!

6. If they had, maybe they would have saved their marriage.

Or maybe not. Could go either way, really.

5. Why is it always a Rick?

Also, always the frat boys.

4. “Like” might be a strong word.

The rest of it is spot on, though.

3. It’s the last line that really makes it.

Details, people.

2. Still less creepy than the original.

Don’t @ me.

1. Don’t you just love the oldies?

They really are the goodies.

One day I’m going to win one of these hashtag games!

What would you have added to the hilarity? Tell us in the comments!

People ‘Quarantined a Book’ for Jimmy Fallon

Just because Jimmy Fallon is home these days, it doesn’t mean he’s out of the game. He’s very much in the game, and when he asks people to hop on a hashtag, they do it.

He knows that people are hilarious, and now that they’ve piled on his #QuarantineABook hashtag, we all know it too.

Below are 15 of my favorites.

15. We all wear sweatpants.

We are all the devil.

14. I feel like it should be Sisterhood of the Traveling Sweatpants.

Nobody is perfect.

13. Coincidentally, this is the real title of the actual book.

I’m sorry; I couldn’t help myself!

12. This is definitely the story at our house.

I’m hoping we can detox after all of this is over.

11. It’s just as depressing either way.

But maybe not as exciting along the way.

10. Some people just really go above and beyond.

Overachiever much?

9. This works surprisingly well.

Though it’s not quite as sexy a title.

8. We could do this all day.

Because we never get tired of talking about Harry Potter.

7. See, we’re not done yet.

I’m betting there’s still more to come.

6. This is just way too real.

It might be too soon, too.

5. If only it took that long.

That’s a lot of laps in a normal house.

4. There must be something interesting here somewhere.

Have you checked the couch cushions?

3. This lady is me.

And this house is my house. I approve.

2. It’s not good to skip the love part.

It’s good for stress relief, don’t you know?

1. I’m just going to set this right here.

You know you love it, even though you might not want to.

I just love when he does hashtags; they’re always the best!
