10 Golden Retriever Puppies Enjoyed a Purple Dragon Reading to Them at Storytime

I’m gonna go on the record about something that I feel very strongly about.

I’m talking about Golden Retrievers. I don’t care if you think they are boring, generic dogs that only suburban soccer moms have. I’m here to tell you that they are one of the most gentle, loving, and all-around outstanding dog breeds out there.

Okay, now that I’ve said my peace, it’s time to move on to the story!

A totally adorable litter of ten Golden Retriever puppies sat and watched (they’re also well-behaved) as a robotic Dalton the Storytelling Dragon read to them in Redlands, California.

And it’s not the first time it’s happened either. Here’s another litter of Goldens getting into the reading spirit with Dalton.

Dog Likes to Pick up Random Objects When She’s Not Getting Enough Attention

Animals do weird things to get attention.

When I was growing up, my friend’s dog used to limp all the time so they brought her to see the vet.

The vet told her that there was nothing wrong with the dog and she was limping ON PURPOSE for attention.

Unbelievable.

And this dog is no different.

Her name is Stella and she’s a Golden Retriever who has figured out how to get attention when she feels like she’s not getting enough…she picks up random objects because she knows it’ll make the humans around tend to her.

A Blind Golden Retriever and His Guide Dog Are BFF and It Is Beautiful

Take a look at these adorable pups! This is what friendship goals look like!

Jake and Addie are inseparable not only because they’re devoted to each other, but because Jake is blind and Addie acts as his guide dog. Jake lost his sight when he was only 2-years-old and Addie has been a loyal friend and helper every step of the way. Jake and Addie’s owner Kim said, “Jake follows Addie’s sound and smell. After Jake’s surgery, Addie wore a little bell on her collar for a while until he got used to tracking her on his own.”

Jake’s owners were worried about his quality of life after he had to have his eyes removed, but they were reassured that blind dogs can go on to live happy, fulfilling lives. And, by the looks of it, Jake is doing just that.

Kim added, “Our vet also counseled us that, to a dog, sight is actually number 3 on their list of senses, as both smell and hearing are more important to them.”

Twitter Account Proves Chris Evans is a Golden Retriever, One Photo at a Time

Chris Evans might just be the best Chris of all. He seems so down-to-earth and sweet – remember when he helped Viola Davis up the stairs at the Oscars?!
