Starbucks Is Offering an “It Frappuccino” That Looks Spooky and Delicious

Here’s another drink you must try this fall. It: Chapter Two recently hit theaters, and Starbucks has decided to offer a drink inspired by Pennywise, the murderous, terrifying clown from the film.

The frappuccino drink features a “strawberry blood” puree. I know I’m in!

The drink is a limited-edition item, and also it isn’t technically on the Starbucks menu, but if you ask your local barista for the Pennywise frappuccino, they’ll most likely know what you’re talking about. The drink has a vanilla bean frappuccino base with the strawberry puree (aka “blood”)  mixed in. You can also add a vanilla bean scone if you want to get crazy.

A lot of Starbucks locations are not advertising the spooky concoction, but some places are letting the world know that they’re offering the drink.

 

The drink seems to be a big hit because photos of it are all over social media.

One barista even got really creative with the cup and decided to draw Pennywise over the Starbucks logo.

The Pennywise frappuccino has actually been around since 2017 when the first It film hit the big screens, but a lot of folks still don’t know it exists.

For the It fans out there, Bill Skarsgård (who plays Pennywise) said there might be a third It film:

“Andy and I have discussed ideas for what a third movie would look like. I don’t think it’s quite what people expect. It’s something different. The first two stories are the book, and the second film is the end of that story. So we would do something quite literally off book. There are a few ideas floating around. I feel like I’ve done what I can with the incarnation of Pennywise as we know of him, so I think it would be a cool idea to change up a few things. So, without going into too much detail, there is a story that we’re kind of excited about, but it’s way too early to say. But we’ll see, we’ll see.”

I can’t wait to try this bloody—I mean strawberry-flavored drink and see a third installment of the series!

There Are 42 Movie Adaptations of Stephen King Books. How Many Have You Seen?

Stephen King, “The Master of Horror”, just turned 72 years old the other day, and he’s showing no signs of slowing down.

I think it’s safe to say that Stephen King has had one of the best careers in the history of books. His first novel Carrie was published in 1974, and he’s been on a roll ever since.

A whopping 42 of his books, short stories, and novellas have been adapted for the big screen, and It Chapter Two just recently hit the big screen, adding another notch in King’s belt. And there are more adaptations in the works and coming soon.

As we know, LV is known for being a brand all about travel and so the brands identity itself is important when collaborating with a charity that is prevalent all over the world. It’s all about bringing people together. I wanted my bracelet to hold luck for all the children whom the proceeds from this bracelet go to. So I wanted to integrate the idea of luck and also inclusion of many countries and cultures. I wanted to have the braids made of two colours; red and white. Red is considered a lucky colour in China. And the white coincides with my idea for having the little circular charm on the bracelet, a rabbit. A. Because WHITE rabbits are considered very lucky in the UK and a rabbit foot is considered lucky in many parts of Europe, China, Africa, North and South America. Although Turner is now a huge Hollywood star, she comes from a working-class family in Chesterton, Warwickshire, England. Her mother was a teacher and her father worked for a company that delivered pallets to warehouses.

2. In the mud

She was well-prepared for all the mud and muck on the set of Game of Thrones. Turner said, “My childhood was pretty fun. We had pigsties, barns, and a paddock, and used to muck around in the mud.”

3. Big screen jump

Her big-screen debut was in 2013 with the independent thriller Another Me. Her co-stars included Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Claire Forlani, and Rhys Ifans.

Turner takes over the Jean Grey role from actress Famke Janssen, and the two surprisingly have a few things in common. Neither are natural redheads and they’re both exactly one inch taller than the actor who plays their love interest, Cyclops.

Tye Sheridan is 5’8” and Sophie Turner is 5’9”. James Marsden is 5’10”, while Janssen is 5’11”

6. Inked

Turner and her Game of Thrones co-star Maisie Williams are very close offscreen. So much so that they have matching tattoos. They both have “07.08.09” tattoos, which is the date they both learned they were cast on the hit show.

7. Furry friend

No, direwolves don’t really exist – but during the filming of GOT, Turner fell so in love with the Northern Inuit dog playing her direwolf on the show that she ended up adopting the pup, whose name is Zunni.

The original version of Disney’s The Lion King was released in theaters on June 15, 1994.

1. Sean Connery was the first choice to play Mufasa.

2. Tim Rice, who co-wrote the lyrics for the songs in The Lion King, wanted ABBA to be on the soundtrack. When they declined, he asked Elton John.

3. Can You Feel the Love Tonight was almost cut from the film because it didn’t fit the father-and-son theme of the film.

4. Disney wanted Patrick Stewart for the role of Zazu.

5. All the lion roars in the film were done by voice actor Frank Welker, who growled into a metal garbage can to get distinct sounds.

I know which movies I would consider perfect. The Warriors, Back to the Future, Slap Shot, the original Halloween from 1978, and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre from 1974.

“Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb.

The idea that all of humanity could come to an end because the people in charge are idiots still blows my mind. This movie was made 55 years ago.”

2. Little Miss Sunshine

“Little Miss Sunshine.

The characters, and the cast selected for them, absolutely brilliant. The storyline is really in depth yet relatable because the Hoover’s are like any other family; complicated. The writing is superb, all the characters have development and impactful scenes. And the camerawork…my word is it phenomenal. Time and time again each shot is symbolic.

Every character’s position in frame means something. Fantastic work. And don’t get me started on the soundtrack. If you’re not blown away by any of the sheer skill I’ve mentioned, the music throughout will definitely sway you. Touching and emotive, so fitting. It’s so lovely and I always get emotional by its beauty every time I watch it.”

Also, the whole aesthetic of the movie is one big masterpiece. The set pieces, the cinematography, the soundtrack – it all fits together as one. When I think of “movie magic” this is one of the movies that comes to mind.”

“Prisoners. It never had a dull moment and always makes you think- like if you’re in that situation what would you do? Or.. Oh he’s the one who did it, fuck nvm it’s her! oh it’s him for sure or maybeee it’s.. etc. Etc. The acting is only just the best acting can ever reach. Ugh everything was just genius from start, middle to end.”

A bronca é que Danny é inteligente e ambicioso, então ele passa a compartilhar com o amigo dele idéias para eles conseguirem vender mais e ganhar mais. Só que quem quer muito meu amigo, às vezes acaba ficando sem nada.  Recomendo, não só pelo roteiro e pelo Chalamet, mas a edição e montagem são muito legais, feitas com carinho e cálculo pra dar tudo certinho.
