If you have siblings, these 11 tweets are going to be a whole mixed bag of mostly good feelings – just like your sibs.

11. Ugh I still have nightmares about sharing a bathroom.

My husband isn’t much better but at least we have two sinks.

10. It’s all based on a degree of need.

Like, you can get your own water but only I can give you a kidney.

9. All’s fair in love and war.

If you can’t do the time don’t do the crime.

8. No one is allowed to kill them except you.

Or talk badly about them, either.

7. Why is this so true?

Who needs self confidence, right?

6. Some things definitely aren’t for sharing.

Secrets, yes. Your favorite snacks, no.

5. You never know when you’re going to need to get out of something.

Or when you’re going to need some good blackmail.

4. Having a sister is why I’m still super territorial over my ice cream.

You’ve got to find a good hiding place for that stuff.

3. It’s like a car accident.

You can’t look away but also you don’t want to.

2. If you didn’t have this conversation do you even have siblings?

No, you do not.

1. That took a turn.

You never see it coming, either.

Awww, I kind of want to call my sister and give her a hard time and also a hug!

These Tweets Will Remind You Why You Love (and Loathe) Your Siblings

I know people who are only children have convinced themselves that was the way it was meant to be, and they’re happy and there are all kinds of upsides to growing up without siblings.

But listen. Those of us who have siblings feel sorry for only kids (most of the time), because even though our brothers and sisters are huge pains in the you know what, we can’t imagine our lives without them – and these 10 tweets are going to flush out all of those feels.

10. So much passion, but listen.

Your parents don’t care. We all know this now.

9. It’s like they’re just trying to make you mad.

I mean, they probably are.

8. This is old school.

7. Nothing gets your heart going quite like it.

Especially if you’ve found something really good.

6. You don’t have to know the whole story.

You can just feel it in your heart.

5. Even though they probably hit you first.

Younger sibs are the worst.

4. So much panic.

You know you didn’t hit them that hard!

3. You never knew you could move so fast.

You’re probably too late.

2. Never let your guard down.

Because you know they’re not going to, right?

Do You Think You Had Strict Parents? Take a Look at These Rules That People Had to Follow When They Were Young.

I was the fourth kid out of five born in my family so, while my parents were definitely strict about some stuff, I had it MUCH easier than my older siblings.

Looking back on it, they were probably just tired and worn out by the time myself and my younger brother came around and didn’t want to deal with every single thing they’d already dealt with three times before.

And who can blame them?

But there were definitely a lot of rules and if you broke them, you were in trouble.

People took to Twitter to share the weird rules they had to follow when they were growing up.

Let’s take a look.

1. No gang activity in this house.

This had to have been the early 1990s.

2. Grease is a Satanic film.

And Rizzo was Satan.

3. How am I supposed to read this?

Come on! A little help!

4. A lot of food rules.

Were you allowed to speak?

5. Start over.

Do the whole thing again.

6. I broke my brain!

None of that devil music around here!

7. Never-ending rules.

That must’ve been a huge rule book.

8. That is weird.

I can think of things that look trashier.

9. You know the rules!

Even Frosted Flakes?

10. My friend…

This is perfectly normal behavior.

11. Time to sharpen up.

But you better be careful…

12. Sounds a little fishy…

And I can see why you’re confused.

Were your parents strict when you were growing up?

What kind of rules did you have to follow?

Talk to us in the comments! We’d love to hear from you!

Parents Who Are Craving Some Alone Time: These Tweets Are for You

From the reports I’m hearing from various friends of mine, I’ve learned two things lately…

One: every single person with kids is about to lose their shit because we’ve all been trapped together with our families for months now.

Two: moms and dads really haven’t been able to have ANY alone time at all. And I’m not even talking about with each other, I’m talking about people spending time on their own, alone, enjoying a few moments of peace.

But, by the sounds of it, they definitely need it now more than ever.

Let’s check out these tweets from parents who could really use a little time by themselves.

1. That oughta keep ’em occupied.

At least for a little bit, right?

2. That’s a wild joke that will never happen.

Trust me on this one.

3. Problem solved.

You got nothing to worry about!

4. Not a good idea.

Next time, consider your options.

5. This sounds like paradise.

Am I dreaming?

6. Yes, you must leave.

And take your time!

7. LEAVE ME ALONE.

At least for a little while.

8. It doesn’t exist anymore.

But you can hope for the future…

9. That is a good plan.

And you’re damn right! It sounds glorious!

10. Too late for that.

Any other ideas?

11. Now we’re getting somewhere.

Don’t blow this opportunity.

12. We all knew it wasn’t going to happen.

But we can all wish…

Parents, we sincerely hope that you get some much-deserved alone time very soon.

But before that happens, tell us how it’s going in your household right now. Are you losing your mind? Barely holding on?

Are the kids behaving or are they climbing the walls?

Tell us everything in the comments!

We look forward to hearing from you!

Vintage Parenting Photos That Would Probably Get Parents in Big Trouble If They Happened Today

I have three older siblings, so by the time my parents were raising me, they were less strict with me than they had been with all of them.

That’s a win for me!

Why?

Because I was allowed to get away with much more than they did and my parents weren’t as hung up on everything like they had been previously.

Parenting changes throughout the years and what one generation did is looked down upon by the next group of folks as dangerous and reckless.

We have a feeling that these old-school parenting photos would get these moms and dads in a whole lot of trouble if they were to happen today.

Let’s take a look…

1. That looks safe.

2. Oh, boy…

Not good at all.
