These Pups Will Always Be Loyal to Their Beloved Toys

The dogs I’ve had throughout the years all had that one toy they loved more than anything else in the world. Quincy had his hamburger, Bailey had a rat, and Bianca just couldn’t get enough of her tennis ball.

If you have a pup, you know exactly what I’m talking about.

Here are some doggos that are eternally loyal to their toys.

I think these pics are gonna make you say “awwwwwww.”

After 7 years of buying her stuffed toys that she completely destroys within a couple days, I finally found her one that she absolutely loves. She’s had her dragon for few months now and cuddles it every chance she gets. from aww

This Husky Was Abandoned Because of Her “Weird” Eyes – Now She’s a Big Hit Online

How could a person get rid of a pooch that is clearly a one-in-a-million beauty? Yes, this pup named Jubilee does have some crazy eyes, but that’s what makes her special, right?

A shelter in New Jersey called Husky House shared a sad Facebook post about Jubilee’s story. The post said:

“My name is Jubilee. I’m a 4 year old female husky who has been with Husky House for a long time. I came from a “breeder” who couldn’t sell me because he said I was “weird” looking. Huskies are majestic looking dogs and I don’t know why I don’t look like them.

I wish I was beautiful so someone would want me to be their dog.

I like other dogs, but I don’t like cats. I love people, but I’m a little shy because people mostly laugh at the way I look.

Doesn’t anyone want a funny looking husky? I wish I had a family of my own who could love me even though I’m not pretty.”

My name is Jubilee. I’m a 4 year old female husky who has been with Husky House for a long time. I came from a “breeder”…

Posted by Husky House on Tuesday, January 14, 2020

As you can imagine, such an unusual-looking dog caught the attention of all kinds of folks on social media, and Jubilee became an overnight sensation. The post was shared more than 5,000 times, as word quickly spread about this unique Husky looking for a permanent home.

And then, the news came: Jubilee had found her forever home! Here’s a Facebook post with the great news:

UPDATE – Thanks to everyone who shared Jubilee’s story. She has found her forever home with previous Husky House…

Posted by Husky House on Tuesday, January 14, 2020

This story just warms my heart. I’m glad that Jubilee will be in a loving home for the rest of her days!

This Heroic Dog Herds Sheep Away from Fires in Australia

As fires blazed toward an Australian farm, a border collie named Patsy took action to save her herd of sheep.

Allow me to introduce Patsy the wonder dog. In the early hours of 31 December 2019, while fire in Corryong was bearing down them, she and my brother rounded up the sheep and brought them to the safest paddock on the farm. She then found a safe spot while my brother fought the fire with a tractor and a tank of water. Almost all sheep are safe, along with the hay bales and silage, the shearing shed, and both farm houses. My brother doesn’t do social media, but Patsy does. Great job little girl ?Update 7 January 2020 – Patsy and her family are busy cleaning up the farm and helping others get sorted out. You can help too! They would love you to donate to these bushfire relief fundraising collections: https://www.wildlifevictoria.org.au/?view=article&id=145:helping-wildlife-during-bushfires&catid=11:wildlife-informationhttps://blazeaid.com.au/donations/how-donate/https://www.redcross.org.au/campaigns/disaster-relief-and-recovery-donateUpdate 5 January 2020 – Patsy is now on Instagram! https://www.instagram.com/p/B67HA-xHJSH/?igshid=126abkbj2hytc #patsythecorryongwonderdog #strongincorryongUpdate 4 January 2020 – Patsy’s story is spreading, so for those people who would like to donate funds to help the Upper Murray community, please support these links which are confirmed to be genuine and keep sharing Patsy’s post ?https://www.parksideproduce.net.au/products/feed-for-fire-gift-voucherhttps://www.gofundme.com/f/xycjem-cudgewa-has-burnt?utm_source=customer&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_campaign=p_cp+share-sheethttps://www.gofundme.com/f/a-little-town-and-its-community-need-some-help?utm_source=customer&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_campaign=p_cp+share-sheet

Posted by Cath Hill on Friday, January 3, 2020

It was New Year’s Eve, but no one was celebrating in Corryong, a small town in rural Victoria. Like other parts of Australia, the little village was burning, and the fires were threatening the edges of Patsy’s farm and her herd of sheep.

That’s when Patsy and her unnamed owner took a risk with their own lives to ensure that the sheep got taken someplace safer.

Patsy’s owner’s sister, Cath Hill, took a picture and video of the brave pup and posted it on social media. She called Patsy, the “wonder dog” and said she herded the sheep to take them to the “safest paddock.”

Which, still not super safe.

Then, Patsy returned to the fire. Hill wrote, “Cool as a cucumber, Patsy waited with [her owner] until the fire got close enough to fight with a tractor and water pump.”

Patsy’s owner doesn’t use social media, but Hill praised them both for saving almost all the sheep, as well as the hay bales, silage, shearing shed and two farm houses.

And here’s Patsy’s sheep, safe and sound today!

Hill also spoke to Metro about the devastation many around Australia are facing.

Everyone is just trying to get water and feed to their animals, shoot the ones that can’t be saved, get temporary fences up to keep stock secure, and put out all the logs and stumps still burning. And there’s people who have nothing left but the clothes on their backs.

Recent rains have helped keep the fires back, but more seasonal hot, dry weather is expected as summer blazes on. In fact, the summer has barely just begun.

Hill hopes her video of Patsy’s bravery will lift her country’s spirits. So far, her video has been shared more than 7,000 times, along with her plea for donations to help.

It’s the world’s hope that the fires will soon go out and Australia’s people and animals finally find some relief.

This Website Warns You About Movies With Sad Dog Plots

This will come in handy for me. My mom doesn’t care if hundreds of men, women, and children get maimed or killed in a movie, but if a dog dies (or even gets lost or inconvenienced for a little while), everyone in the room is going to hear about it.

Let’s just say that watching Old Yeller as a kid wasn’t the most fun thing I’ve ever done in my life.

Do you know people like this? Well, if you do, you should probably let them know about DoesTheDogDie.com. The website is dedicated to “crowdsourced emotional spoilers for movies, tv, books and more.” The site contains “warnings” about more than 4,000 films and over 800 TV series where animals are harmed and killed.

The site also tracks other potentially upsetting categories such as “Drownings,” “Eating Disorders,” and even “There Are Spiders.”

For example, if you search for John Wick on the website, you’d get the straight dope about the dog dying in the film: “Yes, and it’s terrible, BUT John Wick spends the rest of the movie deliberately, gloriously, and violently avenging the dog, so it feels really pro-dog overall.” So you’ll also get some positive reinforcement as well if you need a little encouragement to watch a particular movie.

So next time you’re about to watch a movie with your family or friends, hop on over to DoesTheDogDie.com, type in the movie or movies you’re thinking about watching, and see if any animals are going to bite the dust and potentially ruin your evening.

I’m so thankful for the Internet sometimes.

Sometimes.

Ford Created a Noise-Cancelling Kennel to Protect Dogs From Fireworks Noise

I hate to see how upset and nervous dogs get while fireworks are blasting away on the Fourth of July and New Year’s Eve (and sometimes on other occasions depending on where you live).

The loud bangs can scare dogs badly and sometimes it seems like nothing will calm them back down. Well, hopefully that will change if/when this prototype noise-cancelling dog kennel from Ford hits the market.

The car company took noise-cancelling technology from their cars and put it into the dog kennel prototype. According to reports, “The kennel, like many high-end headphones, is outfitted with microphones that detect loud noises and cue the speakers to pipe in sound-canceling frequencies.” Ford says that noise is reduced to a level that ensures dogs won’t become upset.

For now, Ford’s people are saying that they built the kennel to show customers how the noise-cancelling technologies in their cars can be used in everyday life. But Anthony Ireson, director of marketing and communications for Ford Europe, said, “If there’s enough interest, we’ll explore the technology.”

It seems like a lot of people are really into the idea of buying this kind of kennel for their dogs.

We love our pets like family, so it’s only natural that a product designed to help ease their fears and anxiety would eventually hit the market.

Here’s a video showing the kennel in action.

Hopefully, this prototype will become available to the public to purchase sooner than later.

What do you think? Would you buy one of these for your pooch?

Let us know in the comments!
