Was a Woman Wrong for Letting Her Dog Push Over a Young Child? People Shared Their Thoughts.
You never really know what’s gonna happen when dogs are around children.
That’s why both parties need to be responsible to make sure no one gets hurt. The most loving dog in the world might snap for some reason and bite a kid.
Or a child might do something to harm the animal. You just never know…
And a young woman took to Reddit’s “Am I The A**hole?” page to ask readers if they thought she was in the wrong regarding an incident with her dog and a child.

“I (20f) have an 8 month old puppy.
He’s generally very well behaved, we’ve been going to a trainer with him since he was 4 months but he’s still an excitable puppy. I have him around young kids pretty often but I have them greet him properly first so they can play safely.
I take him for two walks a day which double as training sessions since he gets really hyped up outside and pulls/jumps which we’d like to stop even though he’s not particularly big and that means we’re frequently stopping and starting.
Today he started pulling near a local daycare, I stopped and he corrected himself so I gave him a treat and we went to head on when two young girls (2f, 4f) rushed over.
I knew them, they’re my neighbours and I generally get along with them so I paused to say hi, letting them know that my dog was okay to pat if they’d let me settle him down first since he gets a little excited and I didn’t want him jumping on them in case they got hurt. The girls seemed to understand but their dad came over and told them to “hurry up and pet the dog so we can go home”.
I tried to explain to him that I needed them to wait a second since he loves kids and if they wanted to pet him I just need to grab his collar and have him sit since he was still in training but he wouldn’t listen and told the girls again to “just pet him”.
So they did and my dog who was getting increasingly more excited about all these people immediately did what I warned and jumped up. The older one didn’t mind to much and let him lick her but the other fell over and immediately started screaming.
She didn’t seem hurt, just startled, but the dad immediately went off at me for having a “feral, untrained mutt” and told me I should never have my dog near kids before stormed off with his kids.
I did try and warn them but I love little kids and I feel awful about her being knocked over, especially since I probably could have grabbed him if I was paying more attention to my dog and less to the dad.

I find it to be so strange when I hear about people who want to be in the delivery room who aren’t either the mother or the father of the new baby.
Like…why would you want to be in there?
And why would anyone let you in?!?!

“Okay, so this is an issue that I can’t deal with
I(28)am six months pregnant. Me and my husband have been discussing who can be in the delivery room.
I told him my mother was going to go obviously and he said he would want his mother to be there. I would be fine that but the hospital will only let 2 people in.
I told him if she went he won’t be able to go. He said he was expecting me to get rid of my mother and and let him go but I told him that wasn’t happening.
We’re now in an argument and he said he going to go to his friends house. It’s been 2 days and he still hasn’t returned. He isn’t answering my calls either. Now I don’t know where he is.

Guy Asks if He Was Wrong to Kick a Co-Worker Out of His Wife’s Baby Shower
This story is really strange…
I understand that we all spend a lot of time at work, but when people start calling themselves someone’s “work wife” or “work husband”, I can see how that would make some folks uncomfortable.
And a man took to Reddit’s “Am I The A**hole?” page to ask if he was wrong for the way he treated such a co-worker. Let’s see what happened.
AITA for kicking my coworker out of my wife’s baby shower?
“I (29m) work in a pretty tight workspace. We have about 9 of us in my department and it’s a pretty even split between men and women.
There’s one coworker “Eva”(20f) who started working here a few months back. She’s really good at her job and seems to get along with everyone. We get along well as we work on projects together and are usually in the group of people that are the last to leave most days. I learned some weeks ago that she was calling herself my “work wife”. I knew what the term meant, the sentiment wasn’t shared and I’ve expressed as much.
I don’t think I’ve been rude about it, I just let her know that I’d prefer for her to keep things a bit more professional. There’s no real harm in the term, but for someone who doesn’t understand the joke, it just looks and sounds wrong. I’m also a happily married man, and my coworkers including Eva know this.
I thought I had done a pretty good job nipping things in the bud after our conversation [I no longer heard the jokes from her] so I didn’t think it would be an issue to invite her to my wife’s baby shower. My coworkers are all vaccinated (our job helped us get them) and my wife WFH so there wasn’t much concern for the sickness that shall not be named.
Eva comes in and immediately starts back up with the jokes. “You’re OP’s home wife? Nice to meet you!”, “it’s so nice to see who takes care of my hubby when I send him home!” My wife is a very sweet and patient woman so she just laughed it off, albeit uncomfortably and moved on. However the jokes got worse and wouldn’t let up.
At one point Eva was telling people she would be our baby’s second mom. My wife’s friends and family were annoyed and my wife looked very uncomfortable. I had pretty much had it by then, and took her aside and told her that the jokes weren’t funny and that she could either apologize to my wife right now for being so inconsiderate and gross, or she could just leave. She chose to leave.
Word got around to our coworkers what happened and while they agree that she was acting inappropriately, that I should have let her down a little easier, as it was “obvious she likes you OP”.
Am I really the a**hole for kicking her out?

The Crocodile Huntress Bindi Irwin Recreates a Special Photo-Op for Her Late Father
I love animals, and I was obsessed with The Crocodile Hunter back in the day.
While I was recovering from a difficult surgery, Steve Irwin’s “Danger, danger, danger,” was the fastest way to make me smile.
So of course I follow his daughter Bindi’s Instagram to keep up-to-date on what’s happening in the Irwin lives and at Australia Zoo.
Bindi and her family post a lot of great pictures to Instagram.
Whether they are pictures of the family helping animals, traveling, or just hanging out at home, they are always delightful and sure to please, like this group photo she posted recently:
It features her mom Terri, brother Robert, husband Chandler, and showcases Bindi’s baby bump.
Bindi and Robert are so much like their parents that it’s scary sometimes.
Steve definitely did an amazing job in the short time he had, to pass down his love of wildlife and his passion for conservation.
Like her parents, Bindi met her future husband during a tour of the family’s zoo.
After a years-long, intercontinental courtship, Chandler finally popped the question in 2019.
Now he’s part of the Australia Zoo family too, and honestly, I’m not sure there’s a more welcoming place on earth.
In many ways, Chandler is a lot like Steve-o.
That post, featuring an Australian Carpet Python, sure does remind me of a famous picture of Steve.
(And the UPS commercials where he used to pretend to get bitten.)
Unfortunately in the spring of 2020, Bindi and Chandler’s wedding plans had to be modified due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This Baby with Down Syndrome Has a Smile That Goes Viral and Makes the Internet a Better Place
There’s nothing quite like a baby’s smile to light up a gloomy day.
Even when a cranky relative claims, “They’re not smiling at you. It’s just gas.”
One new adoptive mom from Texas proved cranky relatives everywhere wrong, when she shared a video of her beautiful little one smiling on cue.
The video, posted to Facebook by the National Down Syndrome Adoption Network, shows 8-month-old “Baby H” lying on a blanket for tummy time.

When her mom asks how her day is going, Baby H smiles up at her.
Mom coos back that she loves her new smile and asks, “Can you show me again?”
After a moment, the little girl obliges, grinning from ear to ear.

Her mom is so tickled that she laughs. “Oh my goodness! I like that new smile.”
Thrilled with the attention, Baby H keeps it up.
As long as mom will laugh, she’ll cheese for the camera.

Children, and babies especially, change and grow so quickly that it’s always a joy to record precious moments for posterity.
This family was not only lucky enough to document their daughter’s sweet smile, but they were willing to share their delight with the rest of the world.

Man Asks if He Was Wrong for Yelling at his Wife and In-Laws After They Told Him to Stop Cuddling His Daughter
I’ve heard so many awful in-law stories lately that I think I’m still gonna hold off on getting married for a little while…
I think some of my married friends out there might know what I’m talking about, right?
Because things can get complicated and much worse when in-laws try to butt in and tell the people who are married to their children how to do things…and here’s a perfect example of that.
The man took to the Reddit “Am I the *sshole” forum to tell his story and ask for feedback. Let’s take a look.
AITA for telling my wife and in-laws to f*ck off after they told me to stop cuddling my daughter?
“I have 3 kids, 15F, 12F and 7M.
My oldest has always been a cuddler, and that suits me fine because I am too. Recently my in laws were over, and we were all watching a movie together. It was a kids movie, and so my 15yo was bored out of her mind and tired, so she started to snuggle up to me and go to sleep.
After the movie was over, we sent all the kids to bed/their rooms and got chatting for a bit longer. There was a fair bit of wine involved (I was sober though), and eventually after a short silence my FIL let it drop that he thought it was inappropriate I still cuddled with my 15 yo.
I don’t really know why he brought it up suddenly, but I was prepared to laugh it off and just assumed it was the alcohol. To my surprise, my wife and MIL both agreed with him.
I have a lot of respect for my in-laws, I get along with them great and I consider them closer than my own parents. Obviously I’m quite fond of my wife as well, but I outright told them to “f*ck off and go f*ck themselves” and then left them and went to bed.
I’ve never spoken to any of them like that before, but it felt like the right thing to say in the moment. They all want me to apologize for being so rude to them. AITA?
