This Guy Asked if He’s a Jerk for Telling His Wife She’s Not the Boss

You’re not the boss of me, woman!

You know whenever you hear that, things are gonna get ugly…

And that’s what happened when a guy took to Reddit’s “Am I the A**hole?” page to ask readers about an argument he got into with his wife.

Let’s see what transpired…

AITA for telling my wife she’s not the boss?

“For starters my(M41) wife(F39) have been together 16 years. When she met me I was at the height of my business and starting to go up from there, even during the pandemic my business is still booming.

I had my own house(that I lived in by myself), a couple cars and a cottage although that is unrelated. I own my own factory refurbishing various re-engineered equipment, mostly HVAC stuff. About 3 years after we got married she decided she had enough of working odd jobs and making not-so-great money at it so she expressed she wanted to be a SAHW.

I had no problem with this, we don’t have kids and don’t plan on having any so I saw this as a win-win as she got to stay home, and I came home to a nice house. After 3 years of this she was tired of being a SAHW and wanted to re-join the workforce. Since she could really only find odd jobs I suggested she work at my shop.

I pretty much created a job for her doing small admin stuff, nothing crazy as I used to do all this myself plus work on the floor but this took a load off my shoulders; obviously she got paid a healthy wage for her work and I hired a cleaner to come in once a week to help us clean and maintain the house.

On to the problem: one of my workers accidentally order 20 of one part instead of 2. This was a bit of a big deal as now instead of being out a few hundred dollars I’m now out thousands. While I wasn’t royally pi**ed off this did put a large dent in my overhead so I had to offload these parts. Barely made my money back but that’s beside the point.

My wife however found out and absolutely BERATED this poor guy. I’ve had this guy work for me for over 10 years and his work is solid; he’s a hard working man, 2 kids, another on the way and he’s become my go-to guy for almost anything.

I didn’t hear any of the situation until I heard screaming from my wife that she was going to fire him and he cost her hours of re-work and budgeting etc…(this is simply not true as 2 phone calls and some editing on our books and everything would be right as rain, tops a 1 hour affair).

She and he finally filled me in and I told her to leave the room so I could talk to him. She refused; I asked again and once again she refused. I asked one more time and my worker was on the verge of tears and I yelled at her and told her “You’re not the boss, I am. I make these decisions, now LEAVE”.

I talked it over with him, we made amends as it was an honest mistake and he hasn’t had a screw-up like this since he started so I’m not concerned about it happening again.

My wife was livid and after yelling about his screw-up has refused to talk to me. I’m clearly in the dog-house here but I refuse to think I did anything wrong as she was, in my opinion, being needlessly unreasonable and on a power trip.

11. This man was struck by lightning 3+ times.

They say lightning never strikes twice in the same place, but Major Walter Summerford would disagree – he was struck three times while he was alive…and then his tombstone was struck by lightning after his death.

No fooling, y’all.

10. The Zodiac Killer really tried to help the police catch him.

The Zodiac Killer continued to send letter and ciphers to San Francisco newspapers a decade after his last (purported) killing, but more than 50 years later, his crimes remain unsolved.

Recently, though, his ciphers have started to be unraveled.

A team of cryptologists solved one that the FBI later confirmed, and a French engineer claims to now have solved the final two – one of which reveals his identity at last.

Here’s what the first one revealed:

The second two are very short and lack context, which has made them tough to solve, but French engineer Faycal Ziraoui claims he’s finally done it – and here’s what they say:

“LABOR DAY FIND 45.069 NORTH 58.719 WEST”

“My Name is KAYR.”

Experts believe the second is meant to say KAYE and is a typo.

One of the primary suspects in the case was Lawrence Kaye, who lived in South Lake Tahoe. Harvey Hines, one of the lead detectives on the case, was convinced Kaye was the killer but they never had enough evidence to arrest him before his death in 2010.

9. Another serial killer was once a contestant on a dating show.

Rodney Alcala murdered 7 women in the 1970s, and in 1978 he appeared on The Dating Game as Bachelor Number One.

Backstage, he told Bachelor Number Two “I always get my girl,” but even though Alcala was chosen by bachelorette Cheryl Bradshaw, she never went on a date with him,

According to producers she backed out, saying “I can’t go out with this guy. There’s weird vibes that are coming off of him. He’s very strange. I am not comfortable.”

He was arrested a year later.

8. Space has a very distinct smell.

You can’t just stick your nose out and take a big whiff, but astronauts have confirmed that the smell clinging to their spacesuits is very distinct.

That said, they also say it’s “hard to describe,” but say it’s “metallic, like the fumes of a welding torch,” or even like a “seared steak.”

I guess most of us will never smell it for ourselves and it doesn’t sound like something that will be made into a candle anytime soon.

6. Harriet Tubman led troops into battle.

You know she led slaves to freedom on the Underground Railroad, but you might not have been taught that she also led a successful raid on Combahee Ferry during the Civil War, freeing 700 slaves in one go.

She also worked as a spy for the Union, and was referred to as “General Tubman” by John Brown.

Tubman was a shrewd and careful strategist whose work was eventually recognized with her induction into the Military Intelligence Hall of Fame.

2. One headless rooster survived for a full 18 months.

This might be the most bizarre fact on the list – a rooster named Mike (later Mike the Headless Chicken) was beheaded (presumably ahead of dinner) on his Colorado farm in 1945.

Worker Got Revenge on Their Boss After a Spat Over Their Two Week Notice

We’ve all had bad jobs with sh**ty bosses.

It’s like a rite of passage!

That’s why you know when you find a good one because you’ve already dealt with a bunch of BS in the past.

And today we have a story from Reddit that will make all of us who’ve worked sh**ty jobs in the past smile and nod our heads.

Take a look at what happened.

Give two weeks notice? Fine, bye.

“I was working at this clothing store years ago, no commission.

It was the brand’s first store in my area, and I stayed with them for about 2 years. They were pretty desperate too as they hired me on the spot.

Anyway, all the supervisors I liked ended up quitting and the remaining ones were just plain not nice. I was the youngest on the team and they always excluded me and bullied me. I guess jealousy?

Which I never understood, because although I got positive reviews and customers making sure to point out that I helped them, we did NOT have sales commissions.

I just liked to help, and I liked fashion. I also was in school, and they often called me to cover for people (school was close by, so I could be there fast).

I was always adaptable for them, but this one supervisor just had it out for me. My hours got cut, they were messing with my mental health… I needed a change. I applied to this other job and I was quite sure I got it.

I decided I would book two weeks off work, around the time the start date would be. My supervisor did not even want to let me have the time off (despite it being the only days other than exams I had booked off in 2 years). And they are unpaid!

Fast forward to the day before my 2 week vacation. I got the job. I show up at the clothing store (no shift) and ask to speak with my supervisor. We talk, i quit. She had the sarcastic happiness, but I did not care I was over it. The supervisor made it clear that I was still required to work all my shifts for the next two weeks, and that I better not slack.

I smiled at her, thanked her for acknowledging my work ethic, and put my name tag and keys on her desk. She looked confused. I reminded her that I took two weeks off, so this is goodbye.

I turned around and left. Mental health has been so much better without her. The store is now closed permanently.”

Yowza! That really was a good story.

Worker Got Revenge When They Were Paid Below Minimum Wage and Had Their Tips Taken Away

I really don’t like it when people aren’t straight with you about what you’re gonna be doing at a job or how much money you’re gonna be making.

But sometimes beggars can’t be choosers and you have to take what you can get to pay the bills.

But it sure is satisfying to see people get revenge for being jerked around at work and this story made my heart swell!

Let’s take a look.

Take my tips and pay me below minimum wage. See what happens!

“So this all happened years ago when I was still in college. I worked for a delivery joint.

The company seemed super cool, because they provided vehicles instead of forcing you to beat down your own car. Huge perk right? Well in this case no. The owner of the company used this as justification to take a percentage of the drivers tips.

Often this would result in an employee making below minimum wage. If you made below minimum wage, you would have to come and pick up your check in person and sign a document attesting that “you did make minimum wage, due to undocumented cash tips”. Or some such nonsense.

Now this was a problem for two reasons. Number one, in the state I was in, employee tips belonged to the employee unless part of an employee tip pooling agreement.

This was plain as day on the Department of labor website. So that 20% gouge was already crossing a line. Number two, you cannot just hand wave and or force employees to say they made above minimum wage. So pretty shady s**t right?

Now most people would see this situation and run for the hills (which probably explained the delivery driver turnover being so high). I on the other hand saw the potential. See I am pretty well versed in labor law, and decided that I was gonna ride it out. I wanted to see how long they would keep this s**t up.

Here and there I would make comments to the managers about the legality of their practices, and was often told “Our lawyers said it’s ok, so it’s ok” (would love to meet these lawyers one day). So I patiently waited for a year, documenting every red cent they took from me and encouraging the other drivers to do so.

Every new driver that came through that door got a little pow wow with me, and I would give them the skinny. Unfortunately my plan must have leaked because sooner than later the joint decided to fire me after making up three bogus infractions. If you’re interested in those ask and ill explain in an edit.

This wasn’t a problem though, as my plan was already in action. See in this state, unpaid wages collect interest. So What was 20-40 dollars a night, 5 nights a week, over one year; quickly became a decent sum.

So I began collecting the names of current and previous employees whom had been screwed over by the company and collected their documented data then sent it off to the department of labor. At the end of the day it took a couple months, but the company was eventually required to pay a decent chunk of change to all parties and a pretty hefty fine on top.

Overall I believe it came out to a little under 100k. I wasn’t done though. See those shady little documents they had us sign claiming we made over minimum wage effected how the company was reporting it’s payroll tax.

The IRS eventually came in and hit them for a ton of back taxes, and I received a small portion of the settlement (the irs used to pay people who tipped them off, don’t know if they still do).

Finally, I was increasingly aware of the companies under the table agreement with their health inspector. Which I decided to go ahead and tip off to the health department. This resulted in even more fines and a temporary closure for the joint.

All together it ended up costing this dumb little delivery joint a ton of money just to stay open, all cause they wanted 20 percent of their drivers tips. The moral here is this.

Know your labor laws, it’s degenerates like these whom profit off the ignorance or fear of a work force. The more you know about your rights, the less idiots like these will be able to survive in the wild.

A Struggling Uber Driver Explained Why Tips Are Necessary in Emotional Video

A lot has changed in the past few years, and the way most of us get food delivery is definitely different. Although delivery services from a variety of restaurants – and even grocery stores – has been an option in big, coastal cities like New York for years, the concept has just made its way through the middle of the country.

Because of that, some people might not realize how the pay structure works for those folks who depend on delivery driving as a source of income – which is something Uber Eats driver Riley Elliot hopes to change.

So let’s get into it.

During the crazy year that was 2020, delivery drivers have become more than a convenience – they became essential.

But Riley Elliot had a frustrating day at work and took to TikTok, saying that he wished people who ordered “understood what it’s like to be a driver.”

“I just spent 45 minutes on a delivery, and had to pay $3 for parking to bring this person their food because there was no free parking. And they refuse to come out and meet me.”

That’s inconsiderate, which is something you never want to be to a person who has access to your dinner.

“They tipped me $1.50 and Uber paid me $2.50. I gotta prove 3 times the rent for income in 2 weeks, and I can’t. And it doesn’t matter that I’m working multiple jobs, it doesn’t matter that I rarely sleep and can barely afford to feed myself.”

Life is tough out there, as is evidenced by his anguish and the tears in his eyes, and that’s something we would all do well to remember.

The video has clearly resonated, earning nearly half a million views on TikTok.

“I’m about to be homeless for the third time since May, and it’s all because people don’t tip their delivery drivers. Like, how hard is it to throw us 5 bucks?”

If you can afford to pay for dinner out and pay extra to have the convenience of having it delivered, it stands to reason that you should be able to tip the people bringing it to you appropriately.

You wouldn’t go out to eat and then stiff the server, right?

RIGHT?

Even though Elliot said he made the video off the cuff and wasn’t expecting anything, he’s received donations totaling around $55k.

Which must be nice, and also prove to him that not all humans are incapable of extending a helping hand to others.

Riley didn’t even keep it all, because he walks the walk, y’all.

“Once we reached the point where we were like, ‘OK, now we’ll definitely be able to get into a place, we don’t need all of this,’ I started literally just giving money away. We sent money to folks in Texas whose pipes had burst, we send money to folks who needed medication, sent money to friends who were struggling. We spent about $15,000 that first day, just helping people out with their situations.”

Paying it forward. I love it.

Now there are tears in MY eyes.

He also made a followup video that acknowledges that at least some of his money troubles were due to the companies like Uber not paying their drivers enough, not just the fact that some people aren’t the best at tipping.

Guy Wonders If He’s a Jerk to Choose Sleeping With His Dogs Over His Girlfriend

Most of us treat our dogs like family, but not everyone agrees that letting them sleep in the bed is the way to go.

We all make compromises when we enter into new relationships, especially when we get to the stage of moving in together, but for this guy, his new relationship with a woman and his decades-long relationship with his dogs have come to a head.

My girlfriend (20) and I (21) have been discussing moving in together in the same city, I have two dogs so we were discussing expectations and roles we’d play in the house. The dogs will be my responsibility only, not hers. She likes the dogs and is sweet to them. But last night we had a disagreement about sleep arrangements.

He has always slept with the dogs in his room. Not on the bed, mind you, but in the room, on the floor.

She says she’s not ok with this, and he’s obviously heartbroken at the thought of upending these dogs’ lives after they’ve been doing the same thing for their entire lives.

She said my dogs can’t sleep in our room. She doesn’t want them on the bed and neither do I, but she won’t even say yes to them on the floor. I have each of them for 8* years and they’ve spent almost every night of their life sleeping in the same room as me. If I were to kick them out of the room they would make a huge fuss and keep us up.

He came up with the solution of sleeping in the second room with the dogs, but she didn’t like that either – she feels like he’s choosing the dogs over her.

She said it’s non negotiable so i said I’ll just sleep in the second room with them, but that upset her too that i would sleep with them over her.

He wants to stand his ground for his heart and the dogs, but is wondering whether he’s making the wrong choice, here.

AITA for standing my ground about this? The dogs are my family, one of them is 11 and on his last few years and I’d feel mean for making my old pups change what they’ve been doing their entire life.

They say she’s not wrong and neither is he, but this is an issue that could mean living together isn’t the right move. Womp-womp.

This Homeowner Was the Victim of Revenge After They Harassed People Nonstop

I’ve said it before…people never cease to amaze me…

And today we have a tale from Reddit about a homeowner really needed to be put in their place.

Let’s see what went down, shall we?

Homeowner got what was coming to him after daily harassment

“I worked an engineering/construction job last year for a home builder and we had to deal with a bunch of 5g anti vaxxer health nuts moving in to one of our neighborhoods.

Constant complaints about the construction, the noise, the debris, which made no sense because they chose to move into the neighborhood before construction was completed.

One man in particular would harass us daily, complaining about the streetlights being too bright (they weren’t) and complaining about a generator we had running about a block away from him to power the site temporarily until we had the infrastructure in.

The complaints ranged from the generator was damaging his hearing (thing was almost completely silent) or that the fumes from the generator were coming into his house and causing him and his kids to have stunted development. They would come up with stuff that made little to no sense.

It escalated to the point where he got the city and the mayor involved, and we got sued so we gave in to his requests and moved to generator to an inconvenient location & had to take the time and money to rewire to be able to power the areas needed (this was including important stuff like the streetlights, we had to leave off for a couple nights until the move was complete, and you guessed it, he would call to complain. The nerve of this man.)

So, here comes the revenge. We received an order from the city to install a 5g tower on site to improve cellular connection because the area we were in had pretty bad service.

Since my team and I were in charge of creating the plans to install the infrastructure, guess where we all simultaneously agreed to put the tower: right smack dab in front of the angry mans house. We thought this was incredibly hilarious and couldn’t stop laughing every time he would call freaking out while the tower was being constructed.

Got to the point he tried to file another lawsuit, got laughed away, and within a week we never heard from them again. Moved out faster than the wind.”

A Woman’s Roommate’s Parents Want to Set Rules For Her As Well. She Revolted.

I think the majority of parents in the world realize that, once children go to college, your children are going to make their own decisions – good or bad, against the rules they’ve always had or not, but it’s time to let go.

Some parents don’t realize that, apparently, and believe that, because they pay the bills, they’re allowed to set the rules and expect them to be followed.

This woman lives with a roommate. Both girls are 21 and split the rent, with OP paying her half and her roommate’s parents paying her half of the rent.

Her roommate, Emily, has strict parents who have informed OP – through Emily – that they expect the “no boyfriends sleeping over” rule to be followed.

My roommate, who I’ll call Emily, and I (both 21F) are college students, and we live in an off-campus apartment together. We split rent and utilities 50/50. I pay for my part myself, but Emily’s parents pay for hers.

Emily’s mom is a bit overbearing and has a lot of rules for our apartment- the main one being that no boyfriends are allowed to sleep over, as it’s against her religion. She specifically told Emily to have a talk with me about this subject to tell me this isn’t allowed, AFTER we moved in.

Now, both OP and Emily have their boyfriends sleep over and neither of them has a problem with it. The entire situation rubs OP the wrong way, and she’s wondering whether she would be wrong to tell her roommate’s mother – respectfully – that she pays her own rent and won’t be answering to anyone else’s rules.

Emily doesn’t care if I have my boyfriend over for the night, as she does it all the time without telling her parents. However, it strikes me the wrong way that Emily’s mom feels like she can impose non-negotiable rules on ME when she doesn’t pay for any of my part of the bills.

Today Emily’s parents are coming to visit , and I expect her mom to go over all of the rules that she’s set with me. WIBTA if I told her mom that, with all due respect, I am paying my portion of the rent and she doesn’t have any control of the things I do in my own apartment?

She feels like it’s better to be direct but polite rather than just agree, knowing she’s going to go behind the woman’s back.

On one hand, I feel like I’m justified.

This woman is trying to impose her own religious beliefs onto me in an apartment that I pay half of the bills for.

The idea of just rolling over and telling her that I’ll obey her demands when just doing my own thing behind her back doesn’t sit right with me.

Her own mother thinks that’s the best course, though, and to let the parents believe they have some control over the situation since they do pay for half of the apartment.

However, after speaking to my own mother about the subject, she thinks that it would be disrespectful. She says that even though I am paying for my half of the rent, Emily’s family is still paying for this apartment and they should be able to have a say of what goes on, even if Emily and I just end up breaking those rules anyway.

The roommate doesn’t care either way, because she says her dad is ok with the roommate behaving the way she sees fit, so she’s wondering what the best way is to handle the whole thing.

I’ve spoken to Emily about this subject, and she doesn’t care if I tell her mom that I will or will not be following those rules, as long as I don’t indicate that Emily breaks them.

So, I was hoping to get some outside opinions here.

She posted a lengthy update (or three) about their visit that reveals there’s quite a bit more going on that originally mentioned.

Okay so her parents just went home, so this will be the final update. As I expected, her mom DID bring up the rules, but it didn’t go in the way that I expected.

First, a little bit of background info about Emily’s relationship with her mom. They argue about politics a lot. I won’t go into specifics but essentially Emily is on one end of the political spectrum and her mom is at the exact opposite end. Her mom is also into a lot of conspiracy theories and this topic causes a lot of arguments between the two.

Anyways, I guess the entire time they were together yesterday, Emily and her mom were arguing over politics. This morning, when I came out of my bedroom, I overheard them arguing about it again. They stopped when they saw me.

I sat down and was having a casual discussion with Emily and her parents, and then her mom started saying something about the vaccine. Emily just snapped at her mom, and told her to not bring politics up. Emily’s mom was quiet for a minute, and then she brought up the rules. Emily snapped at her mom again, told her that she already talked to me about it, and to just drop it. It wasn’t brought up again.

And then that was that. We all talked casually about school and work for a little bit and then they packed up and left.

Nothing was said and the girls are going to continue about their business.

I honestly feel like this is what goes on for the majority of college students, but let’s see what Reddit had to say!

I mean, you can try it more nicely at first, but this has to be the bottom line.

Did This Person Act Like A Jerk For Getting Someone Fired for Making a Mistake? People Weighed In.

I’ve never heard a story like this before and it kind of made my blood boil.

I’m not gonna give anything away, I think you just need to dive headfirst into this story that someone shared on Reddit’s “Am I The A**hole?” page.

Let’s get started…

AITA for getting someone fired when they made a mistake?

“I was at a grocery store, shopping for supplies some weeks ago (5-6). My cart included some alcohol, so I gave my drivers license as age proof.

Now for context – I speak with an accent from my home country (English isn’t even my first language actually). The cashier and I small-talked before the carding about the accent, and I mentioned I’m from another country.

So when I handed my ID her, she was surprised that it’s got a US state on it. And she said it was a fake. I said no it’s not, and she claimed that since I’m from another country, why would I have a US drivers license. I

thought she was just slightly confused, so said, “I’m not a citizen but I’ve lived in the US long enough, and that’s why I have the license”. Also I mentioned that my drivers license has a different state on it that where this interaction happened because I even lived there a few years. And she’s still suspicious, and said it’s not a real license, and she can’t sell me the alcohol or anything else in the cart (I said that I could just buy my basics, and leave the alcohol) and needs to confiscate the license.

I was annoyed at this point, and said “listen it’s not a fake, if you want I can show you a picture of my passport to check my name and DOB and know this isn’t a fake ID. THEN will you give me back my ID, let me buy my stuff, and let me get the hell out of a public store during the pandemic?!”

At this point she loses her temper and says “Wow you’re really full of stories and excuses huh! This isn’t my first day on the job, I know a fake when I see one, you aren’t getting this back” AND GRABBED A PAIR OF SCISSORS AND CUT THE CARD UP.

At this point I’m furious – my card wasn’t a fake, and I was happy to prove it, but now I’m stuck without a convenient ID document, need to go to the place (if it’s even open) and sit in a crowd during a pandemic to get a new one, and I need to start carrying my passport with my everywhere until it’s issued so I have an ID on me.

So I demanded the manager, created a big deal out of her behavior (I didn’t yell, but I was absolutely furious and made it clear how much of a problem, in terms of time, safety and money, she has created for me), and stormed off, and received a gift card for my trouble.

I didn’t see her the next few times I went in, but saw someone new. Some polite questioning revealed that she was fired even though it was her first offense, because the wasn’t pleased that instead of escalating to the manager, the cashier cut up “some customer’s ID” willy-nilly (the new guy didn’t know I was the customer).

And now I’m torn. She was trying to just do her job, and I didn’t expect her to be fired. And during a pandemic where everyone is struggling, no less. Of course, I feel like I was justified in making a big stink, but I’m sure an entitled person feels the same when they make a big stink about a store not honoring an expired coupon.

So tell me folks, AITA?!”

This Person Shared a Revenge Story About Someone Telling Their Mom to Speak English

Do you love revenge stories?

Well, you’re in the right places, guys and gals!

Because a Reddit user told a story that happened to their mother when they first came to the U.S. and it’s pretty interesting.

Let’s see what happened.

Tell my mom to speak English? Okay!

“This is a story that was recently brought up again by my mom when she was recounting some really sh**ty r**ism she encountered when she first came to the United States.

I’ve heard this story a few times before but didn’t think to share it anywhere else. That is until I was made aware of this subreddit. Enjoy.

It was the late 1980s in Los Angeles, California. By this time my mom, a Japanese immigrant, had been living in the United States for ten years. Although she could speak English well, she wasn’t fluent and preferred to speak Japanese with others from the local Japanese-American community.

One day, she and a friend were waiting to be seated at a restaurant on Beverly Boulevard. As they chattered away in Japanese, a large shadow cast down upon them. Looking up, they found Karen’s 1989 counterpart leering down at them.

Mom couldn’t remember how the woman looked except for the look of pure contempt trying to work its way across facial muscles frozen by Botox.

“You two,” Karen barked, “this is America! Speak English.”

Startled, my mom and her friend made eye contact, unsure of what to do. Encounters like this were, sadly, ones they had run into many times since they came to live in the USA. They were not ones for confrontation.

Before, they couldn’t do anything while their bullies marched off, unpunished. But then, as they made eye contact, a brilliant thing happened.

Mom likened the moment to their thought processes coming in sync together. They had a shared idea that didn’t need any further elaboration or explanation.

“Masami, my dear, I do think the waiter ought to have shown up to escort us to our table by now,” Mom chimed in the poshest British accent she could muster. “It’s frightfully rude to keep us waiting like this!”

“Yes, darling,” her friend replied, invoking her best impersonation of the Princess of Wales, “it is frightfully rude indeed!”

As they continued to twitter away in their fake English accents, Karen began to slowly back away. Her Botox face reddened and twisted itself in a visage as hideous as the Furies.

Realizing that she had just been outsmarted by two young women obsessed with British culture and celebrity, all she could do was storm off down Beverly Boulevard a defeated bully.

While there was no direct punishment, it was a story that my mom would continue to retell thirty years later. It has always made me chuckle to myself, and I hope you enjoyed it too.”
