A Grandma Went Viral on TikTok When She Sang “Happy Birthday” to Herself During Quarantine

Norma Gregorio recently turned 88-years old by herself because she was in self-isolation. But, this terrific grandma didn’t let that bother her for an instant. She lit birthday candles on a cake, sang Happy Birthday to herself, made a wish and blew the candles out.

Her granddaughter Jessica had the cake delivered and when she saw Grandma’s video, she posted it to TikTok where it delighted millions of viewers.

If you’re thinking the video will be depressing to watch, you’re in for a treat. She’s so upbeat and happy to be celebrating her birthday! She’s cheered up everyone who watched her sing. So far, her video has been viewed over nine million times.

Jessica told People, “When she got the flower cake, she decided to record herself and send it to us. I thought it was so cute so I uploaded it to my TikTok not thinking anything of it. Next thing I know, millions of people are watching, commenting, and sharing it.”

“I told my grandma that I was getting messages from all over the world wishing her a happy birthday, and she didn’t believe me. She thought I was kidding,” she added.

Jessica said her grandma loves the attention. “I told her she’s a star, and she said, ‘No, Jessica, I’m not a star. I’m a galaxy!’”

Norma made another video where she thanked the people who liked and commented on her granddaughter’s original post. “This was by far the most special birthday ever, and you made it so. Yes you did,” she says. “Thank you.”

Now she makes videos regularly starting them off with a cheery, “Hello my TikTok friends!”

Norma is a much needed breath of fresh air during these times. She’s a naturally happy person too, telling CNN, “I start the morning saying, ‘Thank you God for giving me this day to live through,’\’ because each day is a life in itself. Especially when you’re 88. You have to live it fully, completely, and just live in the moment. To be old, every day is a gift.”

Texas Restaurant Delivers Ice-Cold Adult Beverages by Ice Cream Truck to Your Door

As we get closer to a summer where backyard cocktail hours and poolside parties will be limited in size (and fun) due to social distancing, a restaurant in Houston has a plan and an ice-cream truck sure to lift everyone’s spirits and glasses.

In Houston neighborhoods, when adults hear Bovine & Barley’s ice-cream guy coming, they’re the ones running out the door to jump up and down on the corner in excitement. But, it’s not bomb-pops and snow cones they’re after–not unless that’s becomes the name of a new frozen cocktail.

This ice-cream truck is bringing frosty adult beverages to the doors of neighborhood boys and girls of legal drinking age. The truck menu offers seven frozen cocktails–Moscow mule, pina colada, margarita, daiquiri, mezcal margarita, frozen mojito and michelada. Housemade potato chips and chips and salsa are also available.

Okay, I’m getting ahead of myself. But as the weather heats up, visits by this adult ice-cream truck gives Houstonites a nice way to cool off, relax and wave at each other as they grab a tropical drink and some crispy chips.

A Man Builds Kitty Towers and Now People Are Demanding to Buy His Plans

Cats act like they care about nothing except napping and ignoring us, but that’s simply not true. Put a kitty tower in the room and they are all over it. The higher the better!

Then when they are on the top level, they can pretend they are lords of the realm, surveying their subjects and lands which stretch as far as their eye can see or at least to the edge of the living room rug.

Progress update: here we can see Zach inspecting the installation of the roofing shingles. Also the 1st of the lights has been installed.

Watch This 80-Minute Reel of ‘Seinfeld’ Bloopers

I know of one person who doesn’t like Seinfeld and it kind of blows my mind.

This woman hates the TV show SO much just because she can’t stand George Costanza. She said he reminds her of someone she knows in real life and she just can’t handle it.

I, on the other hand, think George is one of the greatest TV characters of all time and I’m a huge fan of the show.

But, let’s get to the important story here.

A guy named Jon Lott found a DVD at a flea market and it turned out to be something very cool. Lott explained:

“2 years ago I found a DVD with 80 minutes of previously unseen Seinfeld bloopers. These are different from the official DVD bloopers, which are already on YouTube. This DVD was in a bootleg case with a bootleg design, and a simple unvarnished disc inside. I ripped the footage from the DVD and uploaded it raw to YouTube. Forgive the video quality; the DVD has low-grade video.

The DVD was produced in 2000, which makes me think it’s a bootleg of a blooper DVD made for the cast and crew of Seinfeld in 1998 or 1999, to be shared in the days before internet. There is nothing else on the disc.”
