Memes That Could Make Your Day Happier

We all want the world to be an easier place for our children than it was for us.

Enjoy these 10 examples of excellence in meme-ing. Spread the wealth. Spread the joy.

Neighbors Took Creative Revenge to Stop a Package Thief

Stealing packages is easy to pull off, and it’s big problem. It’s also a bit odd. A would-be thief sees a box on a porch – they have no idea what’s inside. But they’re compelled to steal it anyway, just in case it’s something good.

One story on r/PettyRevenge outlined some very petty revenge for the theft of a package that, ironically, was probably no value to the new recipient whatsoever.

It’s a pretty wild ride.

Go ahead, buddy, keep stealing packages – eventually you’re not gonna like what you get from pettyrevenge

Basically, they laid a honeypot trap. Except…that’s not honey. The comments section exploded.

It does sort of define the whole subreddit.

It’s a tactic used by a lot of folks, apparently.

Stories That Will Make You Cringe a Little More Than Usual

I struggled with the first season of The Office. Michael was often doing and saying things so awful and cringey that it was hard to watch – impossible, sometimes – because it was just so uncomfortable.

If you enjoyed that feeling more than I did, may I present these 14 similar stories. Bless.

14. It’s like y’all learned nothing from Seinfeld.

Still, I’m off to find something sweet and wholesome to cleanse my palate.

Celebrities and Folks on Twitter Get in on “Flip the Switch” Trend

The “Flip the Switch” trend is pretty simple.

Make a video to Drake’s “Nonstop,” and when he talks about flipping the switch, you switch something up.

It started way back in 2018, but its format was cemented when then-Presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren and SNL star Kate McKinnon dropped their version in March.

I mean, that was pretty awesome. Not enough for Warren to win the nomination, but we’ll save that for another time…

It’s an easy gimmick to pull, but there’s room for enough variation that there’s a lot of interesting takes. Perfect fodder for a quick viral trend. Here’s a few great examples:

10. Let that sink in

9. They grow up so fast

8. No need to limit it to 2 people

7. Get it, guy

6. This one’s an extended edition

5. No age limits on this challenge

4. That’s some good mother/son time

3. Even Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez got in on it

2. Of course man’s best friend needs to get involved

1. Especially if they’ve got the moves

If you’re stuck at home right now, there’s nothing standing between you and TikTok/Twitter infamy. Grab a slightly reluctant partner and #fliptheswitch before the next challenge comes along! Come on, what do you have to lose? Your pride? Haven’t we all collectively lost that during this time?

Anywho, which one is your favorite? Sound off in the comments!

A Man Starts Text “Fight Club” With Strangers out of Boredom and It Hilariously Works

We all have ways of dealing with boredom.

We exercise, we do puzzles, we watch TV. Or, in the case of one Calgary man, we pick pretend fights with strangers on our phones.

Now, we all know that it’s not hard to get into a fight on the internet. Basically say anything at all on a large enough forum and you’ll find a few people who want to squabble. But those fights are draining and lack spirit. Brad’s fights are something else entirely.

Brad has taken up the very VERY un-Canadian hobby of texting random numbers and asking them if they’ve like to have a text fight, based on absolutely nothing.

That’s Brad in his element. He’s started an Instagram feed that contains a few selfies like this, but mostly it’s screenshots of his misadventures running his “fight club.” The results speak for themselves.

15. A poor excuse

14. She was ready, bruh

13. Too soon?

12. You’re so two thousand and late

13. Love thy neighbor as thyself

12. Wait, you’re still wiping?

11. Nailed it sight unseen

10. Oh, Karen

9. Self-owns are rare and should be treasured

8. You’re so missing the point

7. The good life

6. This guy’s just happy to be included

5. This one’s brutal

4. I’m hot because I’m fly, you ain’t because you’re not

1. Talk about friendly fire

It might not be the most productive way to pass the time, but it’s certainly novel, and when things get tedious, a little originality goes a long way. Follow Brad on @quarantine_fight_club for more.

Would you fight with Brad?
