Take a Look at These Adorable Kids with Down Syndrome Dressed as Disney Characters

Nicole Perkins is a photographer who also works at a special needs school. She undertook a photo series in order to “celebrate and help raise awareness for Down syndrome.”

Perkins said, “The response has been incredible, and it was so much fun creating the images,” she said. “I have met some amazing families in the process and I’m so glad to see the joy the images of their children has brought to so many people.”

15 Dogs with Really Impressive Halloween Costumes

What is the only thing better than Halloween? Dogs during Halloween!

I’m gonna go on the record here and say I get much more enjoyment out of seeing dogs in costume than seeing kids. Am I a terrible person? Probably, but I’m learning to deal with it.

Anyway, enough about me and my many psychological problems, let’s see these dogs in costume!

#tbt This Saturday Jensen will be attending his 6th Spooky Pooch Howl-o-ween Celebration at @hillwoodmuseum. Swipe 👉 to see his costumes to date…⁣ ⁣ Jensen and I look forward to this event every year. He always has so much fun so I really didn't want him to miss it. I got special permission from his vet so he could attend (I just have to get there a few minutes early to get a good parking spot so he doesn't have to walk too far).⁣ ⁣ This contest is the reason I started making Jensen costumes in the first place. That first year we went, in 2014, Jensen had an adorable store bought turtle costume he got from his grandma. I bought orange fleece and made legs cuffs and a belt so he could be Michelangelo the Ninja Turtle (I even tried to teach him to carry nunchucks in his mouth but that didn't work 😂). He looked cute but we got killed in the competition – there were so many adorable DIY costumes we just couldn't compete.⁣ ⁣ I vowed then and there to make his costume for the following year and my competitive drive for DIY dog Halloween costumes was born 😂. ⁣ ⁣ 2015 I made him spaghetti ⁣ ⁣ 2016 I made him cotton candy (which was cute but the hat really made the costume – sadly a few minutes before we stepped on stage a gust of wind caught his hat and ripped in apart) ⁣ ⁣ 2017 Jensen and I were gumball machines ⁣ ⁣ 2018 was the disasterous sushi costumes we won't even discuss⁣ ⁣ And that brings us to this year – we've got paws crossed this year's costume can bring home theTop Dog prize for our first non-food related costume! A Little Girl Insisted on Dressing up as a 100-Year-Old for Her 100th Day of Kindergarten, and it’s Priceless

Kids: they do the darndest things don’t they? For example, there’s this adorable little girl decided to dress up for her 100th day of kindergarten in a pretty unique way. Her father, who happens to be a Reddit user, shared the story about how his 6-year-old daughter dressed up as 100-year-old for her 100th day of kindergarten.

Of course, it didn’t take long for the story, and photo, to go viral, because it’s hilarious and all around awesome. See for yourself:

The old lady look is strong with this one. Dad said, “Her friends and teachers loved it, she got a lot of attention in class that day. The cafeteria ladies were obsessed with her, and her friends were all gathered around her first thing in the morning like she was a zoo exhibit.”
